If you are afraid of being squishy, you can unspecialize Lightning blast and still maintain a static discharge every 2-ish seconds, and then specialize Flame Ward. I didn't feel like I needed it, but if you were to push corruption then this would be the best choice.

I've reworked this build to use surge to trigger static, mostly because I love surge. It's quite nice to not have to worry about reaching 200 charges since the trigger doesn't care about the cooldown. I also threw on fragments of the enigma to speed up clear, all in all its great. Thanks for the idea:)

Im currently playing this build and have so much fun. I hit tier 7 +50 attack speed+ frailty on hit on my claw. I want to test the build with prismatic gaze with +4 crit so you can unspec critical rejuvanation.

I'm working towards this build. It's much tankier than I expected, but I have a feeling that's because I've been using the Humming Bee sword since level 6 and still using it at level 67 getting towards the end of normal monos. Highly recommend using this blade as a standin for Dragorath's if you're also leveling this build.

Finally got the Dragorath's. The LB procs and the extra defense is really nice! I do miss the almost perma-haste and higher ward generation of the Humming Bee, but can easily see how much better Dragorath's will be. Now I just need one with LP and chuck some attack speed on it!

Actually dread here is an idea Static charge seems like it could synergies really well with mad alchemists ladle, since you get a bunch of spell damage anyways. You could theoretically run a LB spark charge setup with enigma, you can pretty easily hit 300% cast speed with such a setup even ignoring LB’s chance to double/quad cast, and spark charges count as an additional proc. Of course it’ll become a spark charge build at that point with static charge as supplementary damage but the benefit would be how easy it is to hit 100 cdr so you have 100% uptime for charges on crit. Alternatively I do think changing offhand to fragment of the enigma and using a prismatic gaze helm might be quite a bit better, since you’ll be critting even more often, especially with spark charge on melee hit etc idols. You’ll have a pretty big damage boost not just from static charging more frequently but from the spark charges as well

Quick question, for your suggestion the Prismatic Gaze is purely for crit boost right since there isn't a spell to release the shards?

@@ldotal hahahaha its been a while since I booted up LE but if nothing has changed too greatly yeah prismatic gaze is just for crit, since using ladle and enigma means ur not getting much grit chance and you need to make it up somehow or your damage won't be very scaleable

If you trigger Frost Claw through Melee Attacks the Frost Claw does not consume any mana, so you can save some points in this tree. I've been playing something similar with the focus on spark charges with Enigma. Getting the free 2 Charges from Mana Strike and Spark Charge on Melee Hit as well as procing Frost Claw which then procs Lightning Blast for even more Spark Charges. Was pretty fun but the tank way lacking quite a bit, to be fair I've only dropped on static invokers touch with two it would probably be fine.

So I believe there is a method to leveling Surge but I wouldnt recocmmend it. I would just use one of the leveling guides on Maxroll as I trust them.

I dont see 1m dmg. Why do all these videos say 1m+ and none of them show that dmg?

In last epoch we all use the dummy damage, the dummy where arena is. That is a very convenient way of testing damage and is currently the best way of having a measurement that works across all classes and builds instead of having 20 thousand different variables in the monolith of fate. Everyone has been using this metric for years. You can't reliably use numbers in the monolith of fate because modifiers, boss dr and level variability, so we all use the dummy instead as it never changes!
