The first I noticed beyond the great music was how dark Midori looked. I thought they had replaced for someone else. I am waiting for them to repost the video for "Golden Destination" as well. It was up in the US for a short time then blocked. It featured the song with live behind scenes footage. Do you guys know "Mr. Rock and Roll"? He is kind of funny and over the top. On another subject or band, Ladybaby has decided to come out of hiatus and perform at a Monster Energy sponsored event in Taiwan in May.

I don't normally watch reaction videos, but have always been a fan of StaticAge's videos, especially your Band Maid ones. Appreciate your enthusiasm and commentary always! Some of the stuff I was going to comment was already pointed out below by Tim Gove, he's got the right of it. Fun fact is Miyako actually got her start in an Aldious cover band. It's crazy to study the scene but there's a lot of overlap between those bands back in the day and now. Been a while since I've checked out some of your vids, but see your fans are pointing you in the right direction with Mary's Blood, Nemophila, Zettai Club, Devil Within, and Unlucky Morpheus!

Midori becomes "a bad girl" 🤘🤘🤘 In Japan, got tanned and dyed your hair blonde it´s a traditional trademark of "a bad girl" or in japanese a "gyaru" en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gyaru Even today, the tradition dictate for "good girls" to have very white skin and your hair black. Not just black... jet black. Young rebellious girls sometimes do this, and think that in Japan even today it´s forbidden for school girls until finish high school dye her hair or got a permanent, so looks like Mi-ya is the good gal, and Midori the bad one 😂 Also, look like Midori wears very short skirts and Mi-ya the long ones. Of course maybe all of this is only a pose to the public

I think Show-Ya started the movement but Aldious just brought it back. I maybe wrong though :)
@rickychau76874 жыл бұрын
Show-Ya opened the doors for all female bands back in the 80’s. That is certain. Aldious gets the credit for the movement in the last decade because they showed it was commercially viable. The other band that needs to be mentioned is Destrose. Some may argue they were more important than Aldious. Destrose predated Aldious by a few years. Destrose were never that commercially sucessful and they were very unstable as a band. It is that instability that make Destrose important. So many musicians came through Destrose who later went to form other bands. Mary’s Blood was the first splinter band to form from Destrose. Lovebites was the last splinter band to form from Destrose. Miho and Haruna were the rhythm section for Destrose for many years.
