Miho (bass) started this band - she was in DESTROSE, an all-female metal band whose members gave birth to many great metal bands. When Destrose disbanded, she asked drummer Haruna (from Destrose too) to join. Then Midori (gtr) arrived, and singer Asami (she previously was a backup singer in gospel and rnb bands !!!). Miyako (gtr & keys) was busy with other projects, but agreed to be a support musician but shortly became full-time member - she writes most of the songs, but sometimes Mao, an external composer that's close to the band from the start, helps them or evenwrites complete songs.

Some other commenters already went through the names and a little info on the bandmembers, but just a comment on Miyako (the guitarist on your right who obviously stole your heart): This is her fourth band, and it's the tamest of the lot. Her last two bands were honest-to-god death metal bands, including one called Goddeath. She gave an interview after joining Lovebites in which she said "We're not here to be cute, we're here to be heavy." Thank god those are not mutually exclusive.

@@robertdkarson2825 I can hear the Maiden influence, but Iron Maiden doesn't really do speed metal.. 80's speed metal + NWBHM (Iron Maiden) is what bands like Helloween do, Power Metal.. Show-ya didn't start as a metal band, they were actually quite well known in Japan (and to fans of Japanese rock over the world) before turning metal. I saw them in the early 90's (I believe) when they came to Los Angeles. About 1/3 of the crowd were Japanese fans, 1/3 of the crowd seemed to be American fans, and 1/3 had no idea who they were and were probably just regulars at the club. I was lucky enough to have been given one of Miki Igarashi's guitar picks after the show was over. Still treasure it to this day.

Every thing about that band it's just perfect! jajaja. If you want to hear another Japanese power metal band with a lady singing, check UNLUCKY MORPHEUS, the song "Knight Of Sword" it's great!

G'day, when are you going to react to Angel of Salvation live by Galneryus another Japanese power metal band?

Looking at the sun or looking at Lovebites, either way you are blinded by the radiance :-) You will have to check out a live track. You can either find your own one or as NightOwl11683 has recommended, the live version of a ballad called Epilogue: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hIPciZ-lqMqppdk Thank you for your enthusiastic reactions.
