Love that you guys are trying so hard to preserve Wayne’s memory and his legacy in music. Instead of reinventing the band and embracing a new sound, you made something familiar. I think fans wanted something familiar all along, because Wayne’s sound and style were incredibly unique. This feels like it’s paying homage to him in a way, and I love it.

I just realized that Edsel is going to put it into overdrive and overtime touring with...Static-X, Fear Factory, Dope, and Twizitid so that means Edsel is going to not only do his set for Dope but then another round for Static-X. I wasn't sure how I felt about it at first, but this has been handled with class and feels like honoring Wayne's spirit. If nothing of his was there, this would feel weird. For me this album was something more. It was...something that we needed. Nobody liked how Static-X ended. They didn't get to go out on a Great album or a Farewell tour. The band just ended...cuz Wayne died. Things were left unsettled and I think even we as fans knew. So fast forward to this albums release and the reunion tour. People are loving it because...We got to say Goodbye, and Wayne got to go out on something Good.

This shit fucking sucks, and they’re profiting off a dead mans work. The same dead man that they refused to allow use his own band name when the feud was going on. “Yeah. Ya know, we’re starting slow, and I don’t have the Static-X name anymore. I made a deal with Tonys the only legal Static-X member besides me. I paid him a bunch of money last year to use the name, and he’s just a greedy motherfucker, man. He just hates me to death. He’s trying to gouge the shit out of me. I made him an offer to give him 25 percent of my net profits and he refused it. He wants this outrageous number. [Laughs] He wants more money than I make in a year, and he’s just doing it on purpose because he hates me for whatever reason. But he doesn’t want to play in Static-X, though. I gave him the opportunity, like, “Do you want to tour with us?” He’s like, “No.” Okay, well, “Will you let me use the name?” “No.” [Laughs] He’s basically just telling me, like, “Fuck you.” Ya know? [Laughs] I’m like well, at least my name is Wayne Static and people know who I am. I’m not just some jack-off bass player that used to play in a band called Static-X. I’m like, “Fuck you,” ya know? I’m still playing in a band called Wayne Static. It’s a little bit smaller because not everyone knows the name Wayne Static, and everyone knows the name Static-X, but we’re gonna build it up. I basically made the choice that Static-X is done, unless Tony changes his mind at some point, which I doubt he will. We’re just going to build on Static-X. The funny thing is that it’s still the same guys that played with Static-X last year, the same songs basically…we just can’t call it Static-X.”

I have never liked edm type music. when I was a kid Static-X came to my attention and convinced me to give the genre a chance. Static-X with xero has unlocked the same effect as when I was a kid. Can't wait to see them live

Рад был бы, но без Тони, считай из-за него Уэйн и умер. Кампос запрещал ему петь песни после распада группы. Из-за этого у него началась дипрессия, потом Уейн делает сольный альбом, он никому не заходит, он продолжает пить таблетки от дипрессии, мешает их с алкоголем и умирает. Поэтому я очень злюсь на этого бородача жадного.
