Holy cow- I commented on this video 8 years ago (and you answered me 8 years ago also!) I’ve got another question. My Statim 2000 is working fine, but every once in a while I get the urge to take the solenoid apart and clean it. I’ve had the thing for probably 20 years and never took it apart. So I bought a spanner nut from DCI (with the two prongs/pins like you show in your video), and proceeded to snap one of the prongs off inside the hole in the valve stem of the solenoid valve the stem was so tight it wouldn’t budge at all.. Have you ever seen that? I was tempted to take the Statim to an operatory and drill the stuck prong out of the hole, but I just put it back together and put the machine back into service. I could replace the entire solenoid if need be, but have you ever had that happen? Thanks.

Thanks for the comment, Samlol23. We do not currently have any videos on aligning the probes but if you e-mail us we can get you a pdf for installing the thermocouple. We also have the probe bracket and a complete probe bracket kit which helps simplify things. www.amerdental.com/statim-probe-bracket-kit.html

We currently only have access to a spanner nut for this unit, at this time.
