- My good man, this tutorial is very good, I am a little familiar with some of these processes although haven't played in a hot minute so I'm pretty rusty, and several updates behind, I actually kind of got frustrated after they made food rot, kind of killed the fun for me to have this new dynamic messing up my focus. Anyways, I do have a request/question, maybe you have already done it but if you have a tutorial on Venus, there is something I am extremely hopeful to learn - how to get Oxygen when you have no Volatiles, No Oxites and No water ice because the planet is so hot - Vulcan is similar except it has a high Oxygen atmosphere, whereas Venus is like I dunno something like 90+ % CO2 etc, not an Oxygen based atmosphere, and no ices to melt, the only resource I see is like harvesting gasses from smelting Gold and such. One question I have and could not find through Google search is this :: CAN you break down CO2 into carbon and Oxygen, take the CO2 which is abundant in Venus atmosphere and extract the Oxygen from it? Or is that just not a thing that has been implemented - there are so many cool machines like the one you can extract Oxygen from water, but I don't know all of them maybe this is possible to do or maybe not? If this is not a thing then I am wondering if it is even possible to maintain a permanent Oxygen & water supply on Venus, because eventually the gold would run out, also, constantly mining gold to get oxygen seems way too tedious, for me, getting the consumables like oxygen water and food stabilized and making your base self sufficient is important to get stable very early on so you can have fun making your base and other more complex things.

OMFG I just figured why I couldn't get water from the storage tank collector station thingy to my water bottle filler, I WAS USING THE YELLOW GAS PIPES /facepalm

@@deadmemegamming What i did by mistake is that i messed up pipes and instead O2 i pumped in pure N2 didnt noticed and started breathing that XD

this doesn't at all look “early game“ to me. I came to KZbin looking how to make Oxygen at the very start of the game. I have been building a small sealed room with an airlock and them oresurizing it using the big tank from the lander. but then I have almost no spare oxygen to refill my suit tank. I end up running out of oxygen in the suit with no way to refill it before I can build pipe benders and such. what's the EARLY game solution for refilling the suit so you can live long enough to build the icfe crusher or the pipe bender etc?

Put o2 canister onto the o2 tank on the striped area. But, I think There’s plenty in the suit to mine some iron, copper and gold to make the pipe bender, ice crusher and necessary components.

@@josephr.6081 Problem I was having is I was using all the O2 in the portable tank to pressurise the room. so there was nothing left to top up the canister with. I think most people don't do that

I did the exact same thing. What I had to do to limp by was grab some water ice and drop it in the room. It pressurized enough for me to eat and drink. I now need to make this system to have water and o2 going forward

For those wondering Canister Storage is now Canister Utility (Gas). Also Im having issues with pollutants in my oxygen tank even though I have a filter that is supposed to be removing Contaminants.
