With myself having nearly 1000 hours in Stationeers, this is one of the best tutorial videos I’ve seen. Nice! Looking forward to an ‘air-conditioning’ video. I always find it difficult to cool a Vulcan base. Would love to see a video on Solar tracking WITHOUT having to use code. Just with a couple of logic I/O’s? The position of the sensor always stumps me?

Hey Alekki can you show atmospheric tutorials? Also keeping temp and what good for breathing in base 64% nitro and 36% o2? Thanks for doing the video which makes the game more entertaining since tutorial is malfunctioning.

Yeah, I am planning to circle back to those systems in a few episodes. Once I cover the basics, I will dedicate a number of episodes to actually playing through the early game in sequence with step by step explanations (first breathable room, airlock, a water system, first temperature control, getting food, etc) For atmosphere I've always used O2 and CO2 in some acceptable mix, with some tangential N left over from the oxite atmosphere approach I show in this video. Now some plants need a little N, so replentishing N may make sense. In the past I also did all my industry in a separate vacuum room so there was little risk of explosions with a high O2 atmosphere in my living quarters as I never handled Volatiles there. With the next update a lot of that may change as it will incentivize not being in your suit 24/7, so a breathable atmosphere in my industry room may be desirable.

If you remove CO2 and Pollutant from Mars air, you end up with the 64/36 gas mix you mention whichbis good enough for breathing. For a more realistic atmosphere you would want to get something like 23% oxygen, 2 percent CO2 and 75% nitrogen, but it has no effect ingame.
