Stationeers Programming the Hardsuit V2 Full build

Today we are having another go at programming the hardsuit to add a bit more functionality. We do a bit of testing and set up all of the safety functions and then set up a base station to add navagation and alarm capability. And there is probably a heap more functions that I have forgotten to add.

the homing feature is a nice idea. i've adapted it in my own suit script so that my flashlight turns on when i look in the direction of the base (withing a margin of error of a couple degrees). But only if my suits target pressure is set below 50, so i can turn it on via the pressure setting. bye bye beacon...saved another 300W :-)

Nice! Thx for this! Used this to make my own variant of this code with some of the stuff you did. + filter and AC automation. With help of a select line thingy I use to automate my normal filters. The filters in the suit will turn on once ratio of CO2 is exceeding 0.5 and then run until it is back to 0.001. The filters will then turn off. And stay off until it is reaching 0.5 again. AC uses the same values as the temp safety checks. If temp outside suit is safe. The AC remains offline to preserve batterypower.

Yeah it would be cool with a expedition with the Rover. However there really isn't anything out there to explore.

I really havent found a use for the rover either. The storage isn't good so it is not good for hauling on mining trips and there isnt anywhere to go. There may have been plans for it early in the game development but i think those plans may have been abandonned.

Future suit update to give us a multiple panel arm screen to display info to? And a couple or few "User" buttons on a column next to the filter ac air buttons?! Lol Also, nit pick petty criticize on your code... It works great for a video game, but in reality your programming should be backward shouldn't it? When it comes to the visor, you should be programming it when it should be CLOSED, period. Not when it's OK to be open. When it comes to health and safety you should program so your code fails safely! Disclaimer: I may have missed some stuff in your video as I'm watching this during my morning routine.
