Tyler. However, the part of the video where there is no voice right at the Bayes Theorem topic, there is no link for a re-uploaded video with sound. Just like @Bill Windsor and others report in the comments: "Please note: audio/voice is off from 2:27:30 through 2:45:25. Audio resumes at Section 2.4 Discrete Probability Distributions (at 2:45:25)." Actually, I looked for the video in the channel and it looks like there's no such video :(

Thank you for this wonderful video. I only wanted to point out that the confidence interval (CI) is interpreted wrongly in the video (5:01:28). That interpretation is for the Bayesian credible interval. You cannot make probabilistic statement about the parameter using CI. Think about it, the estimate (p-hat) is fixed.

Maybe 2:32:32 the denominator is not ... ? Also 4:45:02 the left proportion may be without a hat, as it is the population's proportion which follows normal distribution. As a reminder to myself, 5:17:35 I will try to solve it otherwise and check if the result is the same. Help in 5:26:14 the calculated 0.0658 is the probability that claimed value is away from being close to the sample proportion, right ? And accordingly, it is the probability of the alternate hypothesis, so it should be 1 - p-value, right ? Same here is 5:40:04.
@youssefdirani4 жыл бұрын
Well I think I managed to solve that help request I made. The tutor should had taken the claim statement as the alternate hypothesis instead of the null hypothesis.
