I am quite interested in this product and these videos are great! Ok, that said, did I miss something, the code in the end shows a couple of strategies for entries that I don't see anywhere in the beginning during the configuration steps for the long entries - it looks like only random entries (100) were picked but in the code near the end is very specific ORB code that I don't see called out earlier. Am I missing something (most likely)...

@@StatOasis Are you sure nothing is missing from the video? The first time I watched it, I thought you talked about the Hedge Fund guy buying back all his own books. Now, it's not there any more. And also, I agree with the comment above - there is literally nothing about open range breakout in this video, maybe that was also removed by accident? It just shows full random blocks actually. I see you configured the data sources, you forced it to use the Daily, etc. but you didn't define anywhere that it should use a break of the High or Low as one of the triggers. Unless I am blind but I have spent over an hour trying to find what I missed... I think part of the video was deleted somehow.

Thanks for this great video! I have one noob question… how to handle time zone if I live in UTC+2? Have to change something in assets data configuration?

you can clone any data series to another time zone, but I would not recommend it, as futures and stocks are time stamped with exchange time, so you can do your testing/trading on same time. if you are trading forex then you can clone as each broker will deliver their own time stamp based on their time zone.

All strategies presented on the channel are a good start for building a robust strategy. It's extremely easy to come up with a highly profitable strategy, the key is robustness. It is the most important part of strategy development. I have many strategies in my databank that are a variation of what presented on the channel. A robust strategy does not necessarily mean it is good for everyone, capital requirement, risk tolerance, portfolio composition play a big part of what strategy get to be in a live trading portfolio.

Just one doubt about automating strategies: suppose I find a good strategy in this process and want to go live but manualy send the orders to my broker in the begining to get more confidence. Does SQX have a feature of generating the orders to a file for exemple so I can see the new order and execute them manually? Or if it is not possible, whats the best way you think for generating the orders for live strategies? Tradestation, Multicharts? Thanks in advance.

best way is to run the strategy automatically in demo mode in Tradestation or MC also you can see all orders in trades list

SQX software is like lego, many pieces connect together. custom blocks are built by users, then added to the systems to be scrambled ending with strategies that pass your filters

they are not accurate, so instead I use average trade and make sure it covers more than 3 times commissions and slippage

all my videos use average trade, for example if you trading SP500 eminis, then you will need $30 to cover a round trip. so an average trade of > $90 will be our target. If you can't get that the you are trading very short term and there is not enough time to make that margin.
