I got the black version since I love Jim Lee's pencil and ink drawings, it just represents his amazing artwork very well! Batman Hush is also one of my favourite comic books of all time and it was the reason it got me back into collecting comic books again. 🙂

Wow!!! Even better looking in this video! I have it on PO but after this video I’m more psych than ever to get mine! Still have 2 more payments. Thinking once I get mine I’ll display him with the grappling hook and angry face. At first was leaning towards smirk but think the way you had it end the end of video sold me. May have him as my center piece with my other Batman collectibles. Awesome review and agree the quality and craftsmanship Prime put into this figure went beyond expectations! Think you might want to also confirm your measurement. Sideshow shows these: Height: 24.40" (619.76 mm) | Width: 27.55" (699.77 mm) | Depth: 17.71" (449.83 mm). This is wider and deeper than your measurements I believe.

Great job with the review on this piece. There are several things I like and agree with you on this Jim Lee inspired piece: 1. He looks best with the angry portrait, that’s the way Batman should look. It shows his disdain for criminals and supervillians. 2. Prime1 did a great job on the cape. The way it’s sculpted and the way it flows reminds me of some panels in the comic book. Also the improvements in the texturing of the cape gives it a realistic leathery effect. 3. Batman sculpt looks amazing. He looks ripped, at the pinnacle of human perfection, which in my mind is how Batman should be. I also have a few dislikes about the piece though. These are the things that prevent it from being a perfect 10. 1. Base looks ordinary, especially since it looks like they painted it all with same gray color. It’s also too wide. The gargoyle on the right should not be there, he’s covering up part of Batman’s cape. 2. The Joker gun in the back looks out of place, it’s also odd they put it back there as no one will see it since most statues are placed against a wall. The bright colors also don’t match with the rest of the statue. They should have placed it between his feet in the front, and painted it with a dull, darker color to match. 3. Vines should also not be placed in the back, they should have sculpted it into the front of the statue, lots of room there. With that said, this is still a GREAT piece for those who can afford Prime1 statues. Glad you remembered the tape measure this time 👍🏼 How about including total cost in your next review, shipping costs always factors into my decision on whether to buy a piece or not. I CANNOT wait for the unboxing/review of Mr Freeze. To me it looks like a Grail piece and I’m kinda sad I missed the pre-order on the exclusive on Sideshow! That crap sold out so fast!

Really well done piece. High quality sculpt with flawless paint application. However the pose is what really killed it for me. Which is obviously my subjective opinion. Like some of the others said it before me I hope that Prime 1 will revisit Lee's Batman and give us something that pops probably in everyone's mind when we talk about Jim Lee's Batman and that is the iconic Batman 608 cover. NOW THAT I would buy in a heart beat. Nonetheless the execution is great on this one. Congrats Chris and everyone who will get him! 😉

Incredible review! I’m considering getting the black version. I’ve got 32 inches in height, 32 in width and 16 in depth on my shelf . Do you think it will fit? On the sideshow website it said 22 inches in depth but you mentioned about 14.5 in depth on your video so I wasn’t sure.

Hi, very impressive piece overall. Though I'm not getting this particular Batman as I already have 7-8 1/4 and 1/3 Batman statues as it is, with the 1/3 JL version coming in the next few months. But I am getting the Hush Ivy, and I definitely can't wait to get that in hand. Not to be a downer, but am I the only one who saw that the bottom most cape tip in front of the gargoyles face appears to be chipped? (1:52 to 2:00 on the timestamp) I saw it throughout the video, but hopefully I'm just seeing things, or maybe it's some loose foam or something else, but I don't think it is.

I have heard of some people struggling with the peg a bit..I think the key is just finding that perfect angle...mine slid right in without issue.
