I have the Renogy PWM charge controller connected with 180 watt solar and two 100 ah AGM batteries wired in parallel. I'm going to be connecting the ecoflow alternator charger to the batteries, which are also being charged from my truck when running. I'm going to use to that system to charge my Ecoflow 2k ah power station. Is there any reason I should switch from the Wanderer to a DC DC Mppt charger?

i tried mppt and mpw and my 2 20w panel set up was unable to keep my 35ah battery charged. the panels are 22v so i used a voltage converter to 12v 5amp and plug into a 8amp 12v mpw zero consumption controller. so far the battery remains charged.

Works well. Still going strong . As a entry $30 system gets the job done. Will be upgrading to a 12v 280ah lifepo battery (as of post using one 12v 100ah agm). Let's see with the current 4 x100 panels. How it does. But mppt gets the job done quicker. So makes it best option for cloudy days and winter as it approaches. Will have wanderer(pwm) with 2x195 biracial panels with the agm battery, once lifepo arrives. So that would be a secondary test. Unless test shows that pwm better in parallel with the 4x100 panels. So that's a peek of test to comes for the wanderer (pwm). Who ever is interested. Will keep updating in this thread.

YEAH I BOUGHT THE RENOGY WANDERER 10AMP SOLAR CHARGE CONTROLLER AND MAN I LOVED IT BUT I ENDED UP BREAKING IT SOMEHOW SO I ENDED UP BUYING ANOTHER Well guess what the 10amp solar chrge controller isnt for lithium witch doesnt make since and they raised the price when it was in my cart lol they knew what they were doing so yeah now i have a new 10amp renogy wandererr and it doesnt work because its not for lithium even tho the first one i bought does lol so yeah i ended up buying the 30AMP renogu wanderer and so for so good but i wont be buying from RENOGY anymore since its a crap cheap chinnese company

Did you try returning it or contacting them using the warranty . Reading description on renogy Amazon store the 10amp should be able to be used with lithium batteries.
