UH was permitted and, thus, broadcasted rather often on the radio, while Naz was forbidden and, therefore, never broadcasted.

I'm not at all surprised that the Beatles are at number one and the Rolling Stones are at number two. Nor am I surprised that Led Zeppelin is on the list, although I thought they'd be higher. (Well I suppose they were much higher in the 70s when all the drugs were flowing freely. 🤣 ). I'm also pleased to see the Police, Genesis, and the Clash made this lineup as well. They're all great bands. I am.surorised, though, that Black Sabbath didn't make the cut. I realize they weren't exactly a top 40 singles band, but I thought they had at least two or three songs that reached the top 10. Oh well, I guess the criteria for inclusion just wasn't designed to recognize their accomplishments.

@lynby6231 Zeppelin were a boy band. A group of boys/men selected for a certain amount of musical/vocal ability and stage presence. That is what Page did and slotted them into the rock category, although not everything they did was rock, was it?

Con todo respeto el aparecer en el billborad hot 100 no representa para nada la calidad y el impacto de una banda, hay muchas bandas que nunca aparecieron en el ranking y son por mucho igual o más influyentes que varias de las bandas que aparecen aquí, en fin no se trata de hacer polémica pero no estoy de acuerdo con los resultados que nos presentan en éste video.

Es cierto que muchas bandas increíbles nunca aparecieron en las listas, pero el objetivo aquí era mostrar éxito comercial en los EE. UU. Pronto exploraremos con más profundidad listas que reflejan el impacto cultural. Gracias por comentar. ¡Feliz navidad!
