Nice to see an appreciative audience at Top of the Pops! Sometimes they're like wooden statues. Everybody knew, and the band makes fun of, the fact that it's lip-synced, but it's still their music, their lyrics, and it's fabulous then and now!

Interesting fact: The BBC banned the song for its product placement of "Coca-cola" so they rerecorded a version with "cherry cola" for the UK single. In this performance, the whole song is lip synced except for the first verse so he can sing "cherry cola". I do not know why they wouldn't just use the UK Single in studio tho lol.
