@@UnofficialStatusQuo have a couple of questions for you if it's help me out you know what to drop came out on VHS came out in two versions one is rock till you drop that live event. Other video of a 2-hour video set featuring A 80 minute what can you drop documentary would you have uploaded and then a half hour making of I would wonder if you could upload the making of the half-hour program if you have it. And also if you if you have it probably drop the main event live. Also some time ago I had a VHS video Don't Stop - 30th Anniversary Live 1996. Now I've always wanted to see that because I bought it years ago from the charity shop and and couldn't transfer it to DVD the video wouldn't allow me to probably due to a copyright video. Now if you have that would you be able to upload it for me if you can't upload them what I've asked because due to copyright for KZbin will block it or take it down could you send them to me via wetransfer.com and I can download the files and watch hope you don't mind me asking. I hate the words "logistics", and "logistics".... As a now old engineer, all these terms invented by commercial people, who just call themselves managers these days.... "Logistically speaking".... Or "Managing logistics"... Sounds like you're curing cancer... Dude! You're organising the departure and arrival times of truck and planes.... That's all! Just get on with it! Instead of inventing some Latin-sounding terms, you could've been on time for once! XDDDD Commercial people... Always good for a laugh! Make their jobs sound important XDDDD Let the gods make the music, you get the trucks and planes on time, and stop making your job sound important XDDD I'll adapt an engineering adage for the rock gods!!! A commercial guy, will walk past 10 virgins, to fuck a musician in the ass.... XDDDD

I went to Sheffield and Birmingham that day, and during fetching a beer accidentally walked across Chris Tarrants shot, not only didn’t see the camera, I stopped and looked at the fuss this had caused turned to the guy next to me to ask what was going on and yes you’ve guessed it , it was Chris

To me Jeff Rich was the best drummer they ever had.
@alanstrom22214 жыл бұрын
Len, that is a matter of personal and subjective opinion. Objectively, John ' Spud ' Coghlan is the best Drummer that Status Quo ever had. Then Matt Letley was the 2nd best Drummer. If I was given the opportunity to play Drums with my favourite and best Rock band in history, then I would've been QUO's 2nd best Drummer. I'm awesome, plus I play all the fills and cymbal crashes that the other QUO Drummers left out. Great Drummers have great memories and are able to repeat everything. Most Drummers chronicle the history of bands they play in. In contrast to 'popular' belief, Drummers are usually the most intelligent members of Rock bands. We see and hear everything. Jeff was proficient not exceptional as a Drummer. Jeff left the band after recording Famous in the Last Century in 2000 He did a very good job on this album, in fact I think he was the best Drummer for these songs. Apart from me of course!!! LOL!!!!!!! Go the mighty QUO!!!!!!!! Rock on Len. My love to all QUO fans worldwide, we are the most special fans in music history.

@@alanstrom2221 John could be, if he could actually play on time. The guy is such a bad drummer. VERY amateurish. Jeff is miles ahead of him.

Did francis give one of his guitar to a kid? Fucking awsome
@KeldonRaven3 жыл бұрын
I can safely say that when they came off stage at Glasgow the handed their guitars to the first person that they saw. It was the lady stood next to me (I was the 16 year old kid that was backstage at Glasgow) that got that guitar. I'm sure they did the same at the other shows too. Even given how pressed for time they were it is still amazing how much time they dedicated to signing autographs and speaking to fans. This was my first ever gig and what an intro to live music it was.

coghlan by far was and still is the best drummer
@RobTaylorDrums5 жыл бұрын
Kevin Hobden he could do what was required early on but is nowhere nearly Jeff or Matt in drumming terms. He wouldn’t have had the power or technique to keep up later on with tracks like In The Army or Burning Bridges.

@@RobTaylorDrums I think Coghlan was great. But Rich was great, as was Matt Letley. In terms of Live Drumming Pete Kircher was my fav, he was real tight.

MiCawber 72 That’s a good call to be fair. Pete was indeed very tight, I’d say definitely the most underrated, given that they were winding down at the time. Unfortunate timing for him.

@@RobTaylorDrums What i heard, he was quite disappointed when Rossi didn't ask him when the group reunited in '86. But Frame was coked out of his mind back then. Poor Pete.

MiCawber 72 I read that too in Frame’s book, he feels guilty about it now. Shame for Pete, he did everything right. However, the Rhino and Jeff combo is one of my favourite rhythm sections of all time. Very tight, super powerful.
