A word of caution. I had my car professionally detailed years ago. I've never been a smoker and my car was never smoked in. After the detail, though it looked clean, my car had an awful stale, dirty smoke smell in it! It was residual odor from the equipment from a previous detail on another car.

If a basic 2-3-hour detail job is $200, some of these are worth at least $500 on the open market, and he'd have to charge more because he's only one person, so the fee has to include 100% of the cost of supplies and equipment. Big shops with multiple people can buy in bulk and amortize, that's how they get down to sub-$200 for an inside/outside job.

Trollhammer530 I found out recently that I have OCD (I didn’t realize that picking at my skin until it bled was an obsessive compulsion until my psychiatrist told me about it 😕) and I’m in the same boat as you. I’ve watched this kind of video (car cleaning, room cleaning, skin clearing, etc) for the longest time and it just calms me down to the point that I’m able to sleep even if I’m really freaking out ❤️❤️

@@rozalee6703 i dont smoke but understand the collection of dirt/etc. But like you, my car doesnt get to this level. But i also live in central florida where theres alot of sand. Tracking in sand is unavoidable, so this is why i have rubber floor mats. Just pull them out, dump, and spray clean. Usually do that when i clean/wash the car on the weekends, and wash the mats when i wash the car.

Alex aa, I hear you about the sand. Sand however is not filth like the cigarette smokers car. Floor mats are a must if you care about your carpet at all. I have whimpy ones at the moment. Intend on buying better ones soon. Thankfully I do not have munchkin passengers, or every day driving these days.

My hubby bought a expedition from a previous smoker... I detained the heck out of that thing, pulled out the vents to spray/ clean the ventilation system through the dash and top of ceiling. After 3-4 cleanings it was finally good enough for me to barely recognise it was a smoker car. Love your work. Keep it up!

My favorite part is the vacuuming and cleaning of carpets. The extracting process is something I watch to relax its satisfying!! Keep up the great job, I liked the transition in the beginning when 2 of you appeared in the same shot.
