Can I be sooo for real??? Insecurity would have told me to delete this or that clip because "the postpartum re-growth baby hairs are insaneee!" OR... "that angle is baaaad girl" or... "is this even entertaining? just deleteee"
^ insecurity would (or could) have told me those things but thank God I am not a slave to my own insecurities and moreover, I see SO MUCH OF LIFE (especiallyyy the less than perfect parts) as an opportunity to bring GLORY to GOD.
Because even in this small, seemingly insignificant choice (uploading the YT video even though it's not everything i "wanted" it to be) -- but choosing to do so punches insecurity and lack and fear of man RIGHT in the teeth. It says "no i will not live enslaved to my insecurities! & yes i am much more than a 10 minute video! my worth comes from NOTHING & NO ONE but Christ alone!!"
IDK YALL... this may seem like a lot for a simple vlog that maybe no one else but me really even notices all of the "flaws" but there's something to be said here: about taking our areas of insecurity seriously. not letting them rule and reign in our lives; and insteaaad submitting them to Christ... letting Him be the Only ONE who rules & reigns, and just watch what He does with a heart like that! UGH.
