In this thought-provoking video, we dive into the age-old debate: Is it harder being a working mom or a stay-at-home mom? Both roles come with their own unique blend of joys, stress, guilt, and continuous learning. Join us as we explore the complexities of these roles and the challenges that come with them.
🤔 Ever wondered about the dynamics of relationships and comparisons between partners when one works and the other stays home? We'll discuss how this can sometimes lead to unexpected feelings of inadequacy and resentment.
😓 Mental health is a vital aspect of parenting. We'll explore the mental health challenges of both scenarios, from the social interaction and familiarity of a workplace to the constant attention demands of young children.
💼 Balancing a high-pressure job with the demands of parenting can be an uphill battle. We'll shed light on the stressors faced by working moms and the equally demanding responsibilities of stay-at-home moms.
😔 Guilt can often be a constant companion in the journey of motherhood. Whether it's feeling guilty for pursuing your career or missing precious moments with your children, we'll tackle this emotional aspect head-on.
🙅‍♀️ Plus, we'll discuss the societal stigma sometimes associated with different parenting choices and the importance of respecting each person's unique preferences.
But remember, this video only scratches the surface of this complex topic. Ultimately, what works best for your family is a deeply personal decision, influenced by your personalities, life goals, and earning potential. There's no one-size-fits-all answer, and it's okay to adapt your choices as your circumstances change.
Join the conversation in the comments below and share your thoughts and experiences. What do you think is the harder path, or perhaps the best one, for you and your family? Let's explore this journey of motherhood together!

Love your videos! I have a 16 month old son and am 10 weeks pregnant with baby boy #2. I was a working mom until my son turned 1 so I have done all 3 - working full time without kids (easiest lol), working full time with a kid (very emotionally hard to have such drastically different priorities always on my mind that I never had the time to commit fully to), and being a full time SAHM (physically the hardest IMO to never have alone time or the ability to just sit and rest, having to hear screams and cries so often, constantly being touched and climbed on lol). Ultimately I think being a SAHM is the best fit for me right now because I would rather miss working than miss being with my son. But I think the BEST scenario for most would be to work part time and I really wish more corporate jobs would offer this. Glad you have a great situation for your family!

Thank you for sharing! It’s hard being a mom period! And there are so many phases that kids go to that the ideal situation is always changing. I hope you find something part time :)

100%STAY-AT-HOME MOMS!! WE DON'T GET TO "ESCAPE" (WHICH IS WHAT THEY LITERALLY CALL IT 🤨🤌LOL!!🤭) WE SACRIFICE EVERYTHING... SOOOOOO MUCH & MOST OF IT, JUST GOES COMPLETELY UNNOTICED & LITERALLY UNAGKNOWLEGED AT TIMES.... BUT THAT IS WHAT WE DO. WE STAY HOME TO RAISE OUR OWN CHILDREN. SO COMPLETE STRANGERS DON'T HAVE TO & WON'T. AND IN THIS DAY & AGE??? #1BEST CHOICE I EVER MADE I DON'T TRUST ANYONE WITH MY CHILDREN. MY SON JUST TURNED 17 ON HALLOWEEN & MY DAUGHTER WILL BE 22 NEXT MONTH. STAYING HOME TO RAISE THEM MYSELF, WAS THE BEST CHOICE MY HUSBAND & I EVER MADE.💓 ((BUT, IT MUST BE SAID & UNDERSTOOD THAT NOT EVERYONE HAD/HAS THE ABILITY & LUXURY OF BEING ABLE TO STAY HOME WITH THEIR CHILDREN, LIKE I DID. SO THOSE WHO HAVE NO CHOICE??? SOOOOO MUCH LOVE & RESPECT GOING OUT TO THEM💞💓💞))
