I’d bet that company doesn’t have a warehouse, they’re basically a broker and take your money and order it from a 3rd party

I’ve done business with both, Summit for many years with no problems and great customer service. Be glad you didn’t drive to their Arlington store, it’s an amazing grown man’s toy store that somehow vacuums my wallet dry especially when I meander around the open box / discount section! It’s been a couple years but DPP filled multiple orders without the kind of trouble your experiencing.

Check ur load board lost another.03 cents and it’s about dried up so no reason to get into a hurry lost a total .23 cents in last month

What you need to do is call the dispatcher or the broker that runs the load board and ask him what the heck's going on with the rates going in the wrong direction let him know that fuel prices are high insurances is high maintenance is high and with all of that you're reducing the rates for transport ask him are you asking me to leave the company is that what's going on don't be afraid to negotiate with the brokers they're all a bunch of scheming thieves you need to figure out what your costs are plus how much you want to pay yourself per mile plus a profit and tell him this is what I need to make on each run they will probably say no then you ask him how close can you come to this number that you gave them then if he gives you a ridiculous number ask him are you telling me to leave the company every time I get a broker on the phone I get more money out of him and or chew their ass out for annoying me for one reason or another they are not God they're just another swinging dick on this planet trying to scheme you out of money

When places say in stock usual they're looking @ what their distributor shows. My hitch source has Curt drop shipped to me, been 2 weeks since Curt created FedEx label for in stock item & still hasn't went out. I'm not far from original Summit store, been buying from them for a long time & they usually do OK but took my 6 weeks to get spark plugs 😂

Sir, I think you should know that in most states you do not need to be paying sales tax on any truck parts. Sometimes the company will have the paperwork for you to fill out if you ask for it. In fact most transportation related companies do seem to have it on hand, but if not you can print it from the states department of revenue. That goes for the shop your truck is in now as well and as you can imagine that will save you a ton, especially over time. Or just buy from Oregon and Montana and there won’t be any sales tax. @@semperfitransport6572 I believe so. It does ask for it on forms. You would one anyway to have a business banking account, helps with taxes. Different states have different rules with the tax too, so it’s good to try and find out beforehand.

With the rates going south on you maybe you guys should look into getting your own authority and bypass Indiana transport and Horizon and all the rest of them and try to haul trailers straight from the manufacturer for yourselves

@@phxbro1 it would be the smart thing to do. But I've heard it's extremely hard to go direct with the manufacturers. The higher insurance. And competing with companies like Indiana Transport. I just don't see how you could make it.

At the Main Summit Racing store they also have DX Engineering, a Ham Radio Supplies & Parts store. I know DX Engineering is a very good company. They are both owned by the same people.

Man I’ve had a lot of trouble like this, I decided I’m just going to go to dans and get my fuel tank and tool box, I don’t want them getting damaged in shipping like a lot of my stuff does. World we live in.
