Keith, you stud! Thanks for following through with what we messaged about staying busy! Tomorrow at noon will be day 18 since my last dose. The worst is over, the PAWS is lifting, the sleep is slowly getting better! The light is on the way
@StrongKeithJ9 ай бұрын
I’m telling you the light creeps in slowly! Before you know it it’s daytime and you’re awake and healthy! No problem 🤜🤛

Thank you so much for continuing to upload Keith! Your videos help tremendously. Day 7 and sleep is horrific as expected. I’m a Colorado guy as well we’re both headed to a year in no time!

How you doing bro? Day 3-7 we're the worst for me, how getting better
@yajy45019 ай бұрын
Great video! PAWS doesn’t get talked about enough. A lot of people relapse because they let their guard down when the acute ends. 👍

Somebody gave me the idea, and they were so right. pAWS will get you if you’re not careful!

Hey man! Your videos help me tremendously. I had bad restless legs this morning at 4am and I totally relate to the back issues, I’ve had spinal surgery about four years ago. But I managed to get through a 12 hr work shift today, in the cold 🥶 . I take trazodone too, 50mg. It helps me sleep a little better but it’s no miracle pill. I should inquire about hydroxyzine though. Waking up throughout the night is the worst. Waking up at 3am is one thing but if I could sleep soundly for 6-8 hrs straight and wake up feeling refreshed, that’d be a blessing. Glad to hear you’re doing better. Keep up the great content, brotha.

I’m glad they’re helping brotha! That’s crazy about your surgery! The sleep will get better, it just takes the longest! I don’t think I would be getting great sleep if I took the medications longer. Tbh. I appreciate your words though! Thank you. You got this!

I’m sure you’ve heard me say it, but the day I decided I no longer take kratom, I stopped getting cravings. In not using again, end of story. It made it so much easier! 3 months is awesome! 🤜🤛

im around 105 days off methadone and cant tell if im in withdrawals still or paws, it just goes on and on and on
@StrongKeithJ8 ай бұрын
We did some damage to our bodies. We have to let our bodies heal. I think we are seeking comfort when we feel the withdrawals and PAWS. And that’s the mindset that got us into trouble. If we stay the course and develop good habits, healthy habits, it will slowly get better. My sleep can still be shotty to this day, and I’m 7 months in. It is 1000 times better though. I’ve never done methadone, I’m sure that’s a whole different level. But I do know it takes time. You’re doing great though brother 🤜🤛

@@StrongKeithJ Ironically today has been my best day yet since off methadone, I got hammered for days with paws then last night things got alot better, woke up today full of energy. Its funny how the paws goes back and forth and when ylou have real bad paws days you wind up getting really good days after
@StrongKeithJ8 ай бұрын
Yeah it definitely goes up and down. It’s not an every day gets a little better, it’s more like every month you’ll see some progress. I can speak from experience though, alcohol is terrible for PAWS. Any other drug for that matter tbh. I got hammered a few times since quitting, and I feel it really set me back every time. Physically and emotionally. So I quit drinking.
@dustygatrell-ru7tgАй бұрын
Life is way more boring after quitting kratom. The boredom is the worst part. Just feel like something is missing.
@StrongKeithJАй бұрын
How long have you been kratom free??
@dustygatrell-ru7tgАй бұрын
@@StrongKeithJabout two weeks.
@StrongKeithJАй бұрын
Yeah you have to give it some time. It doesn’t happen over night. Don’t expect great results immediately. But the longer you go, the easier it gets.
@dustygatrell-ru7tgАй бұрын
@@StrongKeithJ yeah I know that's the problem. It takes too long the restlessness bs is torture too. Plus I've been off of klonopin for about 2 years but I'm still not completely healed from that. Cause they took me off to fast. So it makes the restlessness even worse. It seems nearly impossible at this point.
@StrongKeithJАй бұрын
Sorry to hear that brother. Time and patience done me lots of good. Believe me. I know you’ll be better!

I had to come here , you got me thru some of the darkest hrs of my life bro, it’ll be 7 days off the green sludge tomorrow morning. Went to the gym today ran errands all day with my girl, laughed , smiled , went out ate sushi. All without the sludge, I also quit smoking weed 6 3/4 days ago and I’m already feeling more dialed in. Thank you my friend.
