Alan Alda, of course, is an award-winning actor, writer, director, and podcast host. You probably know and love him as Hawkeye on M*A*S*H or Senator Arnie Vinick on The West Wing. My husband and I just finished MASH series and OH MY GOD! We loved it! Back in the 80’s we were young adults and tv wasn’t a thing for people that age but of course we knew about it and caught an episode or two and of course the very last one. Didn’t occur to us to actually watch it until October 2023. So we embarked on the best series experience ever! The writing back in those days was impeccable. My how things have changed. I consider MASH as one of THE BEST SERIES I’ve ever watched! I love Alan Alda. What a true icon!

It is heartening to see older people keeping at life. Pete Seeger kept singing even once his voice croaked. Dan Rather writes brilliant essays at 92. I am thrilled to keep up online with the professionally adorable Paul McCartney. I am happy to have the people who were part of my life remain so. I watched MASH and then the re-runs, so I am happy to see Alan Alda now,, despite his health problem. He has a great sense of humor!

Science is not a god. It’s very human and gropes towards a slight variation of the previous idea. Rushing out an RNA jab isn’t really scientific but rather a case of hitting the panic button.
