5:18 Dorothea's smile when you mentioned the artwork she did was the most wholesome thing I've seen all day.

These two have always been very impressive (especially with how well they work together) and I love their videos, so glad they were able to achieve something so monumental :))

Halls of torment sold over 1mill they had an announcement recently. Phenomenal game and the only game I've only done achievements in , because they're reasonable and doable for us mortals !

Thanks so much for this very inspirational video! I am coder myself and after playing tons of card games, decided to try out creating my own one with Godot. Interview provided me so many details I didn't even know I need to know. And what's even more important, motivation to create some working demo in few months just as you did!

Subscribed before I even liked...just because of the great questions you asked. Very helpful info and cool to hear about a successful Godot game.

Nice vid! Would have loved to see more questions about Godot itself but it's fine

I think it's great you do these videos and I want to thank you. As a constructive criticism, I'm a bit saddened there were no questions on Godot, their use of it, etc. Your channel really push Godot, and so I was kind of expecting at least 1-2 question on Godot.

Didn't know they made Backpack Battles. I have watched some of their videos when learning some Godot tips.

Small nuance but they actually went after a smaller concept (I thought this was a game jam project?) and after it showed some promise, they naturally just kept going with it. No chance they crammed a couple years worth of ideas into a design doc and then said "ok, lets do it". I think there is a good conversation to be had about how long it takes most of us to get something out there (if ever) and to start evaluating the.... or is it, our... potential. I'm certainly one of those afraid to release my partially made games.

I liked these talks, but I would have liked them to be more like a two-way conversation than an interview.

Thank you so much! I've really enjoyed your videos-they're incredibly encouraging for people like me who are learning to program and using Godot. They've helped me a lot! It would also be great if you could share something like "How I use Godot" with plugins and maybe some AI integration, which is so trendy these days. I truly appreciate your videos-keep up the amazing work!

About player feedback and complaints, it reminds me of the League of Legend dev saying: "people would complain about things we had not even changed, saying the game was now much slower... so we pushed a patch saying we improved networking, made it so the visible ping to always be under 100, and all of a sudden everyone is praising us for how much better the game is. lol"

another proof of me being totally out of the curve. I bought the game and refunded in about 30 minutes, its boring and it gets tiresome fast, the art is bland to say the least too. I wish I could enjoy these things and understand why normal people enjoy it too

I hate those lazy intros. Just copy & paste stuff that happens later in video anyway feels like it wastes my time. Also makes me feel like content creator isn't confident about quality of their video keeping attention all the way if u feel like u need to trick audience wirh cheap american reality tv kinda "hook". And it isn't a great hook either cuz the format is just interview.. "ooh, whats gonna happen next"... ... ... uh... they are gonna answer. Also also this also makes it feel like u don't respect the viewers ability to make decisions themselves. This video might have a lot of good information but i didn't even reach minute 2 and am out ->
