@@foldupgames I try to make things as simple as possible for other devs, having to keep track of attribution is a hassle and in some projects makes using asset packs not possible at all. I've always released all the assets under CC0 for that reason :)

Hey! I recognized Dracs After Dusk because it was made for the recent GameDev TV jam - fun! I participated in that one and the theme was "Last Stand" and thought Dracs was a GREAT entry! Mine was "Teddy's Last Stand" if you'd like to see it, but it's Game Maker, not Godot

My vote goes to #4. Seems to be well thought out and the SCP project is awesome. Btw, SCP stands for Special Containment Procedures. It's a collaborative writing project in form of a wiki containing hundreds of fake scientific reports and documents detailing the workings and especially the held... anomalies. Some of them are mind blowing and would deserve whole horror movies of their own.

#4 for me. Shows off Godot's 3D potential nicely. Pixel art is all well and good, but the number of Godot games that use it make the engine seem far less capable than it is. At least, that's my take. Honourable mention for #1 as to quote another commenter here, "asset packs do not get enough love".

Nr. 5 for me. @StayAtHomeDev For what it's worth, I don't think (even though it's a good asset pack) it should be featured in these kind of lists. As you mention during the video, this is not unique to Godot. The non-game items you featured on previous episodes were always still godot-related (like plugins or demo's) but an asset pack can be used in just about every engine including Godot. Maybe it's an idea to feature a number of asset pack creators that make good stuff for godot in a separate video/series?

Can you clear one thing for me? Godot has support for AR/VR glasses like Meta Quest? And things made with it can be deployed as a on-line, multiplayer metaverse environment? I'm developing a educational platform in my university and need a engine with this resources. I'm aware of existent cloud platforms because they are not feasible for educational purposes.

The Stylized Nature Mega Kit looks really nice but I can't help but roll my eyes whenever people describe any stylized assets or scenes as "Ghibli-inspired." It's BS. Just buzz words. Again, this asset pack looks great, but absolutely nothing about it looks like Ghibli. I appreciate the name your own price and the quality otherwise.

Hearing SCP being called a creepypasta feels so wrong lol. I suppose it started that way but its been around since 2007. SCP is a fictional narrative project regarding an organization that operates beyond all national jurisdictions to contain and study anomolous entities and objects that could spell disaster or doom or otherwise disrupt the fabric of human society / reality.
