The rooms are so big and bright! 🌞 The big bathtub in the room is a really nice feature ✨ The Otaru food stalls weren’t too crowded. I think it’s the first time Yua visited a food stall by herself 👍🏻😁 Otaru looks like a beautiful small city. And the interior of the train station is gorgeous! Hi @sptoo ! Well for ONCE i disagree with you :D - "Kokichi looks very happy after being pampered" I'm not so sure Kokichi 'enjoyed' being pampered... ( maybe i'm 'projecting' because i would not if i was in his place though :p lol ) - "The hotel did a great job of customizing the containers" As for the Hotel, they did TOO MUCH of a job customizing the containers i.m.h.o :p So much so that besides the trademark wafer-like paneling occasionally showing, there is not much else that shows they were ACTUALLY MADE from containers in the first place... ( the interior design is nice, and the rooms are spacious and look VERY comfortable though :D ) "Otaru looks like a beautiful small city. And the interior of the train station is gorgeous!" AGREED ! :D I don't know if you and Yua are like me, but i always find most train stations AWE inspiring; from grandiose Gothic stations like in New York City or modern Industrial like here in Otaru :D

Love the location of this hotel in Otaru. I like Hokkaido, best of the melon, milk and seafood. I guess it's getting quite cold and soon to snow there. Thank you Yua-chan for another recommendation. Looking forward to see your next one.

I thought you were here about a year ago. A lot of places are starting to us these as living places. As a retired railroader I know how these containers are built with lots of insulation and space for wires and water and will last forever. Sure glad it has a windows. With all the insulation it is very quiet great for rest. Like the lantern tree.

Yua, thank you for this trip. I live in Boquete, Panama in an apartment made from containers. They are not well insulated so it can get hot or cold easily. I like that all these containers are being repurposed and not left to rust. The event did not look well-attended and, if it was cold, I can understand why. but-wow- another hot bath and I am jealous for that! Sleep warmly!

The container hotel is marvelous, not sure how it's all put together with plumbing and electrical, but like you said.... it's a great room, and almost too big for a single traveler. I would have loved to stay there longer. Your video work is outstanding, and greatly appreciated by those of us dreaming of traveling to Japan, so much great information and your style and grace, is simply beautiful. It's magnificent what a shipping container can become! From the outside, it somewhat had the container look, but the inside........ unbelievable! It looks like an expensive flat, but is just beautiful! That roly thing is actually a lint remover for clothes if you're wondering what it's for Yua!

Oh my YUA 🥺🥺🥺 - This really touched my heart ❤❤❤ - I knew we had a lot of Japanese influence here in Hawaii - but almost everything in this video we do here in Hawaii 💙💙- From the building and how they look to the food you were eating - we have those things here too 🙂🙂- I loved everything about this video and don't worry about eating to much - your walking a lot, so your burning off what you ate - trust me you look MARVELOUS 😍😍but honestly - the lantern festival is something we do here in the month of May☺☺- and thousands of people show up for this event - it is held at our largest beach park Ala Moana 🤍🤍and the lanterns are free (they like you to make a donation) and you write notes to the ones you have lost in life 💔💔 they come on a board and you light the candle and put it in the water and push it down out into the sea 💕💕- they floated to the other side and people collect them there - it is such a beautiful sight and it airs on local TV💖💖- I am tearing as I write this, so thank you so much for everything you show and do - I have so much respect for you and your culture 🙏🙇‍♀- Loved how you did the rainbow with your thumb 🌈

First, I love all your videos. I've been to Japan many times and live very close. In the 1960's my family went to Japan and we took a train ride to a small seaside village where we staying in a Japanese Inn. We slept on futons on the floor and ate Japanese food cooked for us in our room. We could walk out our porch door to a garden that opened to the beach. The beach did not have sand but very smooth pebbles. I was wondering if you could search for this inn and do a video on it. If not, maybe just one on traditional Japanese inn. Thank you.

The design of the hotel was cozy and the atmosphere near the hotel in Otaru is so pretty at night! I definitely want to experience Otaru canal! Kokichi is clean and ikemen! Seeing At JAPAN Yua-chan walk in Otaru makes me so happy 🥲☺OOTD is perfect!

This one you went to was really nice and stylish. I bet you were able to finally relax. Kokichi 🐶 had a spa day 😊. The festival looked fun and your food looked really good. This container hotel looked more upscale and stylish compared to the first container hotel you stayed in. I was thinking that extra bed was kinda big for kokichi to have by himself. Also kinda small TV in such a large space, but it's a cute room either way and bath was roomy.
