You're getting it wrong about what Bears fans are saying about trading up (the trading down from 1 is what they are saying and ridiculous). You can't compare it to the Texans last year because they traded up with the Cardinals who were targeting Paris Johnson Jr, not Will Anderson. As well as that the last draft was not nearly as stacked as this one so the Cardinals were willing to move down because they'd get their guy and some capital. The Patriots, Cardinals, Chargers, and Giants are all teams that could possibly take a WR. With those teams needing those positions, plus the top tear prospect they are, and the talent in this class the amount to move up would probably not be similar to the Texans, Bears fans are saying it might be significantly more to the point where it may be too much (also considering this team does not have a second this year, who knows how much value they can give). Where talking multiple firsts, seconds, and possibly thirds/fourths. Bears fans are all for getting one of those guys and trading up to do so, they aren't complete morons. Teams may not also be willing to trade out of those spots because they want the guy the Bears are targetting, it's way more complicated than "they should do it because the Texans were able to do it."
