I guess the only way to ensure we win this series is to sit Matthews for the rest of it, right? Obviously, I am kidding, but it was a different Leafs team without him the other night. Almost everyone on the team looked energized and way better than they have thus far in the series. Domi was on fire in the faceoff circle and he was flying around like a ferret on cocaine... Marner and Tavares looked like they were going hard, and what can you say about Matthew Knies that has not already been said. I love that kid. And he hasn't even grown into his body yet. Maybe if he comes back, put him on the 2nd line with Nylander and Tavares (move JT to wing) and perhaps leave the Domi, Marner and Bertuzzi line together.

I obviously don’t know for sure but I think that play in Game one I believe behind the net, where everyone said it was a missed call is where Matthews got hurt. If you look up Bobby McMann’s injury, it was on a similar football hip drop type play. He didn’t skate in morning skate yesterday, I think it’s lower body if I had to guess

The thing about the Bruins’ fans believing the team will blow it is based more on their play in the regular season than in last years playoffs. The ridiculous number of OT games the Bruins played this season is because they had the penchant of blowing leads in the third period. It’s the MO of this season for them.

I just don't understand why Leafs don't ride on Woll when he came back from injury, to give him the time and condition he needs, if they decided he is the goalie of their future. I don't believe they trust Samsonov that much which will gave him a big extension during off season. Now, they have to tie their hands and pay for Woll performance, which turns out to be excellent so far.

Went to OT and on multiple occasions could have ended a bruins win if not for 1 or 2 purely lucky bounces (think Coyle's chance to start overtime).

I would have started Sammy over Woll in Game 1 too. But after 4 goals I would have tried Woll and see how that went. Woll only played 1 game so far. Boston could have won.

So i will say this, Woll and Sammy whats the difference between them. Not much, But some guys shine brightest when the lights are high and it calls for something extra. I compared woll to the guy that won 2 cups with Mario, Barrasso. And the Leafs haven't had a playoff goalie in along time. Thats the difference between them. Atleast right now. I believe the Woll will do great things for the Franchise and he may or may not get them through this series. But Next Year you stick him in the net and just say stop the puck. Go Leafs. Peace ✌️ 😎.

I was totally flabergasted that Woll wasn't put in net after the first game. Sure Samsanov played well in the second game but you don't know which Samsanov is going to show up from game to game so why take that chance. If Woll hadn't gotten hurt he would been the number 1 goalie. In fact, I'd put Matt Jones in net before Samsanov any time. He saved the Leafs asses when Woll was hurt. The mistake is on the coach and his staff. All we can hope for now is that Woll has given the players enough confidence to go out there and make it happen. I've been sucked in again. 😂
