I stayed at a Japanese warehouse which is said to have been built in the Edo period.
Sawara prospered in the old days as a town of water and was even called Small-Edo(Tokyo) in the Edo period. Because of the building regulations in Sawara, old buildings have been renovated and preserved, and the area around the Onogawa River still retains its old landscape.
The hotel doesn't even have a TV and the bugs come in. It's hot in summer and cold in winter. You have to walk for a couple of minutes outside to the restaurant for breakfast and dinner. And it's expensive.
But you can't have an experience like this other than here.

Long time no see, guys. I stayed at a unique hotel the other day and I've made a vlog about it. Hope you enjoy. By the way, I changed the channel name a bit. Oh don't worry, I'm not depressed, it's just a combination of the titles of my favorite books :) Crazy 2020 is almost over and I wish you all good health.

It gives you a different aura. The room was your personal historical mini museum 😊 I am happy to have come across your vlogs. With all that is happening I look forward to ending my day relaxed and virtual traveling. Thank you so much. 🥰 ⭐

I had cockroaches 🪳 in my room in Cuba 🇨🇺 once and it 😃🤣 was unpleasant especially if you are under the shower 🚿 Nipponia hotel has a special vibe, but a bit expensive. Mmm if you want French cuisine 🧑‍🍳 you must come to Paris (I live there) after the pandemic 😷
