I like this. I'd love to take a combination of sleeper trains and overnight ferries to go to all 10 hidden onsen. Make it 1 lunar month, so it begins and ends on a full moon.

It seems they do not prohibit people with tattoos, but it is advisable to cover them with a towel or to take a bath when others are not around!
