Oh my gosh so glad you mentioned the noise EARLY from the waterpark ! I love Cabana Bay and the volcano view rooms have a great view but when you're staying out late you don't want to be woken up at 7am. I'm a heavy sleeper and it woke me up!

We took a family vacay here a few years ago and the kids loved it!!! The walk to Volcano Bay is nice!!!! They also loved in house bowling alley!!!! They are very affordable! Not like the other guys(Disney) “Value”, these are actually priced well!!!!

My family stayed here on our last trip we loved the proximity to volcano bay. My son loved the retro vibes I didn't really like the aesthetic, but the soaps brought me back to my 80's childhood and that was fun. My fam uses the cups for water but we don't make coffee.

I love Cabana Bay Beach Resort. I’ve stayed there about 4 out of 5 of my family’s on site Universal vacations (we stayed at Lowes Royal Pacific on our last trip). I love the 2 pools, views, rooms, food court, amenities, convenient walk way path and entrance to Volcano Bay. The staff are always super nice and helpful. We get the refillable cups for the entire stay every time, it’s definitely worth the money. The gym is awesome. FYI, You can only hear the Volcano Bay bell and music in the two towers next to it btw not in the other rooms

We use always the coffeemachine in the room 😊 No morning with rope drop without coffee 😅😅😅 Or just grab some Voodoo doughnuts and enjoy them with a nice cup of coffee relaxing on the bed 😉😊 It is also much cheaper than a black Coffee at Starbucks...😅🤷‍♀️😉

I love Cabana Bay too! I'd say that's my go-to for Universal since it's usually very reasonably priced, lots of great amenities, great for my daughter, walking path to the secret security entrance to the parks 😀 we've stayed there more than any other Universal resort and it checks A LOT of our boxes!

I love that resort hotel. It's more nostalgic and emotional despite not having the pedigree of the ritzy Royal and Portofino hotels. The food is exceptional from the Bay Liner specially if they're not feeding armies of schools. I'd book whenever the school is on.

I have only been able to stay at Cabana Bay twice and so love it!!! We now stay at Dockside due to the suite rooms. But, Cabana Bay is great due to you can also walk to Sapphire Falls and ride the boat in or it is a beautiful walk over to the park too.

We’ve stayed here a few times and we absolutely love it! The staff is always amazing and we just love the amenities! The price is never that bad as well, especially off season. We also love the walk to universal by the water! It’s a great place to stay for HHN 👻 Ty for the tour! I loved seeing it again! Love, peace and chicken grease 😝

Stayed there once and probably never again. The atmosphere was great along with the wave pool but the beds werent that comfortable and the walls were thin. Heard a couple go at it around 2 a.m. Safe to say we couldnt go back to sleep. Thank god my 3 year old is a heavy sleeper.

I love this resort! You're right about the colors Dev, they are beautiful. We got stuck in Florida in 2018 due to weather and we couldn't get another flight for 3 days. The resort was able to accommodate us and we had the best time. Love the theme and all the activities available especially the bowling! Yes, we do use the coffee maker.

I had such a bad experience at Cabana Bay in March. Room didn’t get cleaned 4 nights in a row! Staff wasn’t apologetic..

We love staying here in the tower pool view. We normally get the 10th or 11th floor of building 8. (Beachside) You just can’t bet the value for this resort. Especially if you have the annual pass and get a discount. We use the coffee maker. For one to heat up water so we can have our lemon water in the morning. I guess now we are going to have to get a volcano bay view next trip. The garden walk is a nice amenity for this resort as well usually takes us 15-17 minutes to walk to the park. My one COMPLAINT is the smoking sections. I shouldn’t have to walk through three smoking sections to get to the main lobby. The one right outside the front door of the Beachside building is just unnecessary. They have a parking garage that they can put the smoking section in. Still close to the rooms and sheltered from the weather. More importantly out of the way from the main path

@@PCDev I love the autotrain! It’s travels only from Lorton VA to Sanford FL. My hubby works for Amtrak as a mechanic. I can use the regular trains and go anywhere for free. We have to pay for the auto train. He gets reimbursed except for the $200 auto insurance. I love the ride. It’s pretty quiet for the most part but if you or other passengers nocturnal, they’re up walking at night back and forth to the lounge/snack areas. The rocking reminds me of my Navy days stationed on a ship, so I’m asleep most of the 16 hour trip. Definitely give it a try!
