Hi Jess. A couple of years ago, my friends and I booked a trip to the top floor of the Shard with champagne for their panoramic view! We had an amazing time. I'm a little jealous now that I see we totally missed the hotel! I'm sooo glad you had a chance to stay there and that we could enjoy it through your eyes! Love your videos!

Having stayed at this hotel, although this video does capture the luxury it doesn't quite capture the level of detail the staff go to, to ensure your stay is as easy as possible - car cleaned and water for the journey, every single staff member you have an interaction with would ask 'is there anything else I can help you with?' and you got the impression absolutely anything you asked for they would do their best to do

Just a tad bit of information for the more mature person , the warship on the river by the Tower of London is HMS Belfast and it saw action in WW2 and it was stationed in the English Channel on D-DAY , it was to have fired the first shot on the day to start the invasion but the warship next to it got excited and fired a tad early so it ended up firing the 2nd shot of D-DAY lol

I'm sure it's a fair value for such luxury, but I can think of so many things I'd rather do with that amount of money. For £2800 I could have dinner for 2 at all 5 three-star Michelan restaurants PLUS the Fat Duck (which has more than once been called the best restaurant in the world), and still have money left over. Everyone's got different priorities, but clearly I value food over sleep! Maybe if I hit the lottery one day.
