Hi Teresa, I live in Bend, Oregon and I love your videos. I'm also a Christian and really appreciate that you make the focus of the Christmas season - Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Clutter can be such a distraction from the real meaning of Christmas. I also decluttered my Christmas decor a few years ago and it brings such peace and joy to have less clutter. What a lovely video! This year, I have toned down my decorating. I do have garlands, small trees and a full size tree. But I am only putting decorations on the full size tree. The garlands and small trees are pre lit with a single velvet ribbon tied on the top. Simple and pretty!

I've just finished making some orange pomanders which make the whole house smell amazing! I love your deer print and the way the sleigh bells cleaned up. I have a brass preserving pan that I clean with half a lemon and a tablespoon of salt and I love to see it shine.

@@teresaelling-peacefulhome the lemon smells a bit nicer than the vinegar, but I think your vinegar paste probably worked best for the bells as it meant they could be soaked in it - such a lovely transformation, and I do like being able to clean without using harsh chemicals.

I got concerned when you had the wet leather strap on your beautiful Johnson Brothers Friendly Village plate. I hope it wasn't stained from the liquid cleaner. Those are hard to fine, and very collectible

@@SamWinover Hi Sam! I can see how that could’ve caused a panic. I have an entire collection of Friendly Village and they are absolutely a treasure. They are our everyday dishes all winter long. I realize I said “cleaner” but it was actually just a leather conditioner made of oil. However, they are now over 30 years old and I should probably start being a little more careful. 😬 Thanks for sharing with me - I appreciate it!! 😊
