April 6, 2014 - There are seasons in our life where it seems like the promises of God dissipate. When God is silent it is important to stay strong by resisting the temptation to try to make happen what God has spoken. There is an appointed time for God’s plan and if He spoke it He will surely bring it to fulfillment.

Praise His Name and rejoice in testament to your faith! Jesus hears you and He is with you, yea even through the Valley of the Shadow of Death. Dear Jesus, we pray for our sister Faith, that she might see and know that You are with her. That depression is despair from the devil. Do NOT ever think that you're separated from the Love of God. He knows the plans He has for you. Plans for good and not for evil! Plans to give you a future and a hope. Rebuke the spirit of depression. There is nothing that can separate you from the Love of God. Go and be at Peace, for Jesus is The Way, The Truth, and The Life. I encourage you to pray the Psalms out loud. Rejoice in God when you feel despair. Sing louder than your fear and ignore the devil and walk in your Faith. Jesus is with you! There is no power that can take God's love from us. He loves us, and He hears when we call out to Him. Go forth and speak the promises of Jesus, and through your Faith, you shall find healing, peace, joy, and mercies in great abundance. Your cup will run over. Let Jesus speak to you and through you. Ask Jesus how your struggles might be a blessing to you so that you might help others who are suffering the same. Praise Jesus. I will continue to pray, but you need to believe in the promises of Jesus. He IS your Salvation. Reflect on how Good God is. Reflect on what you've been given, and not on what you don't have. God is enough, He is all we could ever hope to need! I say this to encourage you, for I too walked in despair and darkness. These are tests of faith. Learn to rejoice in Jesus, even in the face of depression, and satan will no longer be able to get a hold on your life. We can do all things, through Christ, who strengthens us. Rebuke that depression, in the Name of Jesus and keep doing that until it can no longer whisper lies in your ear. God loves you, just as you are, and you will find peace by embracing God's plans for you that will come in God's time. Pray without ceasing. Rejoice in God's blessings. Ignore the darkness, and refuse to give up Jesus. Remember the disciples in the storm? Call on Jesus and He will save you. He always answers!

As David Wilkerson got older I started praying that God would raise up a pastor to take his place; someone with the same passion and Holy Spirit filled heart as Brother David. God brought Carter Conlon. I have written my journey journal and included all the things which the Lord has spoken to me, His corrections, His encouragements, and I continue to add to it. I want my children and grandchildren to have a copy to know that the Holy Spirit still speaks, leads, and teaches us. I read it whenever I am discouraged by His silence, and trust He will lead me, and even if I had sinned, He would correct me and bring me to repentance.

Whatever it is, it doesn't sound like it's of the Lord. Satan sends things our way and tries to make us lose focus so that we would do that very thing of doubting and accusing God. That's one reason why it's very important that when you are going through something, you do not Inspire Yourself by the words of your mouth. We hold the power of life and death in our tongue. I can understand a baby in Christ being so confused and even to be disappointed in God but there again, there is never any reason for us to be disappointed in God. There is no slack in Him concerning His promises. He's faithful. He is not only faithful. That is one of his names... Faithful Father.

There is an old hymn my church would sing "through it all, through it all, I have learned to trust in Jesus I learned to trust in God". "The hotter the battle, the sweeter the victory"....another song that got me through things when I was young.

Eventually, Job was covered in boils and sitting in sack cloth and ashes wishing he had not been born, his children were all dead, his property destroyed, his wife was mocking him, and his friends were condemning him because he said he did not know why God allowed it, they told Job that he must have sinned because God would not have done this to him if he was righteous. Then God eventually blessed Job for his faithfulness through his adversity.

I got this impartation while listening to this sermon. The Lord can redeem our years, but only if we humble ourselves before Him. This is not a call to clean up your life and then give it to God. God is saying, "I will take your life just like that, that is a mess that you can't fix and I want it." The moment you decide to give Him your life the start of the day every day. To take up that cross and follow Him, that is the day that He will pour out His blessing upon you. If you have cheated the government out of 100,000 dollars of taxes, He doesn't say to work every day to pay your taxes, then come to me and I will bless you. No! He says bring your debt to me.
