the 3 pieces you said would replace bloodvine with is 134SP, 1 crit. replacing 83SP, 4 hit, 2 crit. that is not better than bloodvine. it is another option yes but saying its what people replace bloodvine with is just false

yep, bloodvine is unquestionably BIS until naxx, you need it to get as close as possible to the hit cap. You have to roll tailoring / engeneering for BIS warlock until you get those t3/naxx gear. I leveled a new character to have herbalism for that very reason.

Correct 3 piece bloodvine with tailoring is BiS even in phase 5.

exactly what I was thinking too. According to my sims 1 hit=17sp and 1 crit=12.5sp with full buffs and flask. I was really hoping I'd be able to drop tailoring so i could go herb+engi in p5 but it looks like I'm fucked until nax lol. Good thing I have a mage alt with herbing now, going to get the most out of mara farms until I have to drop herbing for engi in p5. Maybe winterfall farms will be the play if I want to farm on the lock going forwards lol.

Band of Dark Dominion + Forced concentration > Zanzil ghetto set. There are spreadsheets out there where you can sim yourself and figure out best gear possible. Based on mine, 1% hit is roughly equal to 1% crit @ 12.5 spellpower

@@The0nlyy I did watch the video, the point of gearing is to get your BiS items and he is wanting to drop items that are BiS even in the next phase for lesser items. It seems a bit pointless really. Also with that BiS p5 list I linked you gain 14% hit, swap the neck out for the ZG neck (cant recall the name) and you will have 15% hit.

if watch his stream he's able to extract 100g per hour from maraudon with herbs + killing some rock eles +bosses etc and he can interact with chat more because its lower level so he has to pay less attention

Bc mining sucks and the only reason you take it is to farm dme. With herb, you can farm mara and profit from the absolutely rediculous amounts of ghost mushrooms and blindweed you get. In addition, if you get an alt to lv 35 and give it artisan alchemy, you'll have an infinite supply of shadow power pots to last you the rest of classic. Generally I farm 8-12 shrooms per hour reliably. And about 12-18 blindweed usually as well. If you herb the stranglekelp thats about another 3g/stack, like 5g/hr or something like that. Blackstone ring runs. Thrash blade ez princess kills. You can sell runs for this, ppl will buy it. You can even sell the caster loot from tinker and princess like then necklace, headpiece and mp5 dagger too. And for secondary profession, you could do mining/herb, but I went herb/tailor and am currently rocking 3 set bloodvine for +2% crit. Not to mention mooncloth production is huge gold, easily a passive 25g every 4 days on CD. and if you so choose you can craft them into mooncloth bags which also sell really well. Tailoring is like BiS. warlock profession tbh. My alt is a lv 35 s.priest with artisan Alch that makes shadow pots for my main, and I use my main to craft it extra shadow gear, like shadoweave m, Dreamweaver, and felcloth etc, plus robe of winter night and felcoth gloves. So it all meshes perfectly Also herb/Eng is an option warlocks go, or maybe Enchanting. Either way mining isn't very good at all to have a profession unless you are farming dme. And when you aren't farming dme, the profession is pretty useless. Get a random node here and there, not really a big deal or good gold per hour

@Fennec I REALLY hope you are trolling. What he says in the video is 100% correct. SM/DS is absolute shit for raiding, if you show up as SM/DS your guild should instantly kick you for the week and make you sit out. He didn’t contradict himself in the slightest.
