Me and my ex broke up 3 months ago. Went and got an std check yesterday. About a week ago i noticed some lumps in the shower. No pain, itchiness, or burning, never gre in size but more poped up. The nurse that did the test said it could be herpes but they had no fluid and looked like they had scabbbed over. Ive been vigorously cleaning the area. So thats why i think they poped and scabbed. But who knows they couldnt swap them, so i had them run the blood work instead. She did however notice a new one i hadnt seen, and said it looks like molluscum contagiosum. I hope thats what they all are and not herpes. 400 bucks to get tested and no answes kinda sucks. Other than um cleared of HIV and Sypallis. Got those resaults right away.

It depends. HIV is predominately cause from exposure to contaminated blood. HIV can occur with cunnilingus, but rare. If a female has HIV and I her menstraul cycle it is more common. I've been to two different dermatologists for lesions I have in my pubic area.. in between the base of my penis and my waistline. The first derm doc said its seborrheic keratosis and removed it with cryotherapy. Some time later, I don't remember how long exactly, it returned in the same spot. The second derm doc said it's a genital wart and did the same removal process. Which one is more likely to be correct? From what Ive read, the two can resemble one another. Seborrheic keratosis is much more rare in the genital region. Genital warts are much more common to be in that region. So playing the odds game the second doc was likely correct. Keep in mind that if you are concerned the lesion can be biopsies to confirm the diagnosis. So if you are curious you can ask your doc to do a biopsy potentially. Take care.

If they diagnosed and treated you appropriately the antibiotics should work. For example, if I had a patient and she had chlamydia. She would receive potentially doxycycline and her symptoms should resolve over the following days. On the other hand, it all depends on if you were diagnosed correctly and treated correctly. It’s possible. HIV is more complicated than most diseases. I could go way in depth on this subject, but I don’t have enough space in the comments. In a nutshell, highly sexually active people should get tested for HIV routinely per the CDC due to several reasons. This helps as HIV can take several months to show up positive, we can get false negatives, and people can get HIV from various partners along the way.

Around 1 month ago i got a frictional burn on penis inside the foreskin after 1-2 weeks it get healed but leaved a whitish layer which really very sensitive so i get hurt many times if i accident touch that sensitive part which cause bleeding but after 2-3 days it get healed by its own...after the whitish layer disappeared i got some ppp on my bulb...but the thing which is worrying me is yesterday i did masterbate and when i went to pee i noticed a little red rash on the side of my penis where was no injury...can it any thing serious...well I don't anykind of symptoms that u have mentioned in your videos

Herpes does not present with white discharge. The only definitive way to find out if you have an STD is by getting tested for STDs. Symptoms alone simply doesn’t tell you for sure if you have one. If you have discharge, consider seeing your provider.

It all depends. Unfortunately, providers need to evaluate something physically to determine if it is indeed a concern and perform a swab if needed. Consider following up with your provider so they can evaluate you and determine if it is a concern. Take care.

Having sex too often can certainly cause excessive irritation when your body is not used to it. But also consider both of you getting an STD check prior to having unprotected intercourse to ensure you both do not have any STDs. Take care.

There are very common STDs that people test for, but rarer ones that some providers forget to test for. You may want to get a second opinion or see a Urologist if you are concerned with your care. Take care!

It’s very accurate if done correctly. Many people choose to not get tested due to the embarrassment of coming in or no healthcare coverage. It’s great to have a mail in option for those people who don’t want to come. Similar to individuals opting out of a colonoscopy for the mail in cologaurd test.
