Great video Adam and Abby, glad to see this pop up on KZbin. We lived in Montrose for 5 years back in the early 90’s. I am still looking for a video of you smoothing the inside of a cast iron skillet or Dutch oven? If you recall a video like that could you point me in the right direction? Fred. 🙏🏻🙏🏻👍👍👏🏻👏🏻👋👋

So glad you are showing the NP stamp & stickers. So many people don’t know about them. We have been collecting ours for about 15 yrs. we probably need to get another one soon, or more pages. Even remembered to take it to Alaska & Hawaii!

Not too far from Montrose is ouray just before younger to ouray is an area known as Dexter creek I used to hunt deer and elk there it was beautiful then. Found a ton of small quartz crystals there. Just homthe road is an underground cave that is really cool. Enjoy our state but be safe doing so.

Learning to judge the timing is all part of the path to steak greatness. You had two steaks of wildly differing thicknesses and that complicates things.

Just a suggestion: If you want to preserve those stickers long term, when you get home from your trip get yourself a sheet of 3M clear Vinyl and apply it over them.

I love your stickers on the camper. But, there's one other thing I love which I've noticed for some time now, and that is Abby's collection of ball caps, really. Also, whenever you want to get a sticker straight on your camper, call a machinist.

Since you two are going to Breckenridge, take the time and head over to the town of Frisco Co. As you get off I70 going into town there is a fantastic bar and grill called The Moose Jaw Their burger called "The Mother Lode" is fantastic.I checked and they are still in business since I was last there 25 years ago and people still talk about their burgers on line. I first went there 30 years ago, and would make it a point to go there when ever I went to Colorado. It's the place where the locals go to eat and have a beer. I hope you get the chance to go there. BTW the burgers are all ABOMB sized.

We’ve been twice now and home to make it again this weekend. I like that town and Main Street. Only problem I have with driving there from Breckenridge is the traffic slow down on Hwy 9 because of the construction.

@stompbuilds54164 жыл бұрын
The meat in the grocery stores has been low quality around here lately. So bad that I've gone to the local meat processing plant that only uses local corn fed beef (costs more, but worth it) It's crazy we have to do that, since we are surrounded by cattle ranches, and Olathe is famous for their corn.

I got those From Wal-Mart but that was our best option. I froze a few steaks from my butcher so those will be next in line to grill.

The best thing about being outdoors/camping is...just about anything tastes good when it comes to chow time. Likely that Ribeye could have been a tad thicker and it would have had more flavor than it did. Looked good enough from this angle ABOM.

Likely hand butchered too, unlike most locations these days that machine and cookie cut primal cuts for maximum profit vs. quality cuts from a skilled butcher. There truly is a noticeable difference in skilled butcher meats vs. "boxed" prepared cuts to the local 18 year old behind a meat counter in a store that does the finishing cuts.
