Rus that looked great. I must admit though that I that that great looking appliance was some sort of commercial panini press. What ever it is very nice.
@SmokyRibsBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Thanks! It's referred to as a plancha and has slick plates and used in making cuban sandwiches, but in actuality it's simply a commercial grade sandwich press. A panini press has the grooved plates which are also available for this model. I prefer the slick so that's what I went with. Thanks for watching!
@victorbenner5392 жыл бұрын
@@SmokyRibsBBQ Rus I forgot panini's have grill marks. I've been looking at commercial appliances lately ( looking at putting together a food trailer) it's dangerous looking at all those WONDERFUL toys. Fyi, I don't have a wife to to say NO! 😄 Anyway have a great day 🌤 🍻🔥

Good morning Tus,, good video my friend.. When are you gonna be in Memphis ? And what is the name of your friends channel ? Are you gonna make some videos of the cookoff ? Memphis came on my radar in 1962 when I saw ELVIS Presley at the movies in Girls, Girls , Girls. My mom dropped us off to see it.. ( you could do that back in those days without having your kid stolen ) THANK YOU FRANK FROM MONTANA....
@SmokyRibsBBQ2 жыл бұрын
His channel is Smokehouse Bayou, just like his company name. I going to take random footage, not a complete video. Thanks for watching Frank! I seen Elvis in concert a year before he passed. Great memories.
@frankmarullo2282 жыл бұрын
@@SmokyRibsBBQ I seen ELVIS 7 times in concert, in New York, penneslvania, and Florida, the Florida concert was in Feb. Of 1977 just 6 months before he died. Got some GREAT pictures thanks for a quick response.. Frank

Sorry, but as a Mexican I have to say that once you use any kind of oil to marinade your meat for "carne asada" it becomes something else. You do not use any kind of oil for carne asada, you want to keep the original flavor of your meat, oil will change that. Use beer, orange juice, lemon and salt (black pepper if you like), but no oil of any kind.
@SmokyRibsBBQ2 жыл бұрын
Well as an American I can say it’s mighty tasty and I never said anything about it being an authentic Mexican recipe. Oil is just a fat, and the steak has plenty of that built in so I can’t really see your point
