I have been doing carnivore since 2017. I was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes. After six weeks, seeing no change with my diabetes, I went carnivore. Over night my blood sugar went from 200-300 every day, to 80-90. OVERNIGHT! It stayed like that too. I lost 60 pounds, in the first 30 days. I went from 250 pounds to 190 pounds. And stayed there! About 10 years prior I was diagnosed with an RCC. A particularly, (well, potentionally) form of kidney cancer. The tumor was small, but it was growing at 1mm a year. We watched it closely, taking images about twice a year to watch it for sudden growth. After starting carnivore, I forgot all about it. I had a sudden insight of "Oh crap!". And called to have it imaged again since it has been three years since the last image was taken, that was a little over a year ago. It had shrunk 6mm! My oncologist suggested we take advantage of this, while it was in regression, take advantage of it while it was weak, and do the ablation and remove it. No drugs. Just freeze the little fracker. So, to date, I have cured my diabetes, lost 60 pounds, reversed my cancer to about half its size so it can be easily removed. I'm not going back.

@@AndreaMaselli66 100% correct. I went from 250 pounds to 210 pounds the first two weeks, thus 40 pounds. Then in the next two weeks dropped to 190 pounds. Thats 20 pounds in those two week. So... I guess it was really 60 pounds in 28 days. That was 5 years ago this October. Oh, AND NO EXERCISE. All just from trading my carbs for fat. ALL OF THEM. Zero Carb. Carbonongrata.

@@Technichian462 I'm sorry, but it's not believable. Only an amputation (and, may be, sodium hydroxide or hydrochloric acid sprayed all over) can let you lose 40 pounds in 2 weeks. Not even a morbidly obese person (someone about 500 lbs) would loose such a weight in such a short period of time, not even fasting 14 days. And you were just 250 pounds.

I ate for 5 days straight whenever I was hungry, and it was a lot. One day I ate over 3000 calories! And I'm a chronic under eater! By the end of five days I didn't want much food and on day 6 I had to force myself to eat, so day seven I said forget it. I'm fasting. I almost done with a 48 hour fast and I feel amazing. And I feel so skinny! I'm also someone with IBS so that is a nice change.

😊 I must say distilled water fasting is absolutely a needed thing for most people to stay healthy and fit. It all depends on what goals your trying to complete. Some people really need a 3 or 4 weeks of fasting to get rid of fat or other medical issues. Some people need to water fast for 5 & 10 days. But yes, one has to work up to the longer fasts. Plus once one gets all the processed foods & toxins out of your system, you can fast much easier. Actually a 5-10 day distilled water fasting period is really healthy, AND one needs to NOT work out while fasting for 7-30 days of serious fasting for that health issue.. Love you two. Keep the videos rolling..😊😊

Carnivore and fasting together transforms! And meditation too! The meditation is most important bcuz it will make you obedient to the process that’s necessary for your transformation. Your willpower will increase and you won’t be as shallow as you used to be. The food we eat plays a major part in our inner spiritual system.

@@js1642 I think it makes sense. Do you practice meditation and/or fasting? Meditation and fasting is what I’m practicing daily now, and it’s helping me to get stronger and repairing my balance physically, and it’s helping me to stick to my water fast which I set a goal for 55 days, and today is day 5 of 55. It’s too early to tell for sure if I’ll go all the way, but right now it seems like I’ll make it if I do my meditation everyday bcuz meditation seems to be strongly linked to fasting and is giving me a boost that I never got when fasting alone.

I have been finding grey hairs with dark roots! You can re-stimulate the melanin in your hair colour. I have also noticed that my hairline is filling in. Still relaxed carnivore and I haven’t heard of this fasting and feasting method yet. I used to intermittent fast for 18:6, but stopped doing that a few months ago because it was affecting my hormones. But I was also high fat: moderate protein. I just switched to high protein a few days ago just to switch things up. I might look further into this different method. 16+ months carnivore, dealing with rheumatoid arthritis.

@@sueoyl I was IF too much, if you’re female and still have your cycle IF everyday can interrupt hormone production if you’re still healing something. I had preexisting cycle issues to begin with, which were improving with carnivore and high fat, but were also not optimal. At the time I was around 80:20 fat to protein. This month I decided to try equal fat to protein calories to see if there would be more improvements. Also have been watching Nutrition with Judy's series of videos with Robb Wolf. They talked about some issues with chronic under eating and not enough electrolytes causing some of the symptoms I was experiencing recently. Definitely a work in progress. Keep looking into different teachers. They all seem to have valuable knowledge. Just have to find the balance that works for you. I don’t really calorie restrict. I usually eat 2MAD. I have been tracking meals this week while I transition away from high fat, but generally I don’t track all the time. But when switching things up and because I can tolerate more different foods than before I'm relearning what a days foods look like. I'm still trying to hit targets, but not obsessive about it.

I've just started the carnivore diet and am estatic about all the information on you tube. 3 years ago I was doing keto with great results. Then I moved, had a traumatic loss, and I went off track. I'm so glad I found this. I'll be 69 next month and I want to be happier for the rest of my life. I know eating this way is key. I'm also a two time cancer survivor, have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, arthritis in my knees. I've watched a number of these you tube videos and this one really got me excited. When on keto I got to a point I was OMAD. I ate the same thing daily except if I went out. It was very high fat and some protein. About 1/4 protein, 3/4 fat. I can remember feeling high and I didn't feel like I had to eat. I told a friend who had been on keto for a few years and she said, "of course you have to eat". I decided once a day was it for me. Listening to you two talk I now realize I was on a slippery slope, but instinctively did the right thing. I ate my meal until full. I could go on and on, but just a few days in I'm already good with one meal. After listening to this I'm going to eat 1 or two healthy snacks and one main for a couple months and see where I am. I'm also planning on joining the March challenge. Thank you so much!!

You’re not hungry, however you feel like you must eat something. Your attitude about food and eating changes; it improves. Restarted carnivore 7/20/24... been extended fasting since early June. Mixing it up a bit again. Lost 100lbs from lare 2017 to mid 2018... new goal is 50lbs or 18" mass

I'm with Raymond, I'm 43 lost 70lbs doing 18/6 IF with a 42hr 1x a week fast on a different day strict ketovore. I definitely am better now than any time in my life physically and athleticly. doing my research now for full on carnivore, I do meats only on my 2nd/last meal of the day my carbs are below 10 daily right now. I'm going to look into the rolling 48s. iv done 2 72s as of January 3 2021. 1 before starting any fasting or keto to kick start it all and one In July at the 6mo mark. both were very easy for Me. I'm a different person now and still losing this last bit of love handles is pushing me to full on carnivore! thanks for the information.

Wow, this interview absolutely blew my mind & inspired me. Such an insightful conversation that touches upon why feasting/feeling of fullness is important. It was really great to hear the both of you discuss the incredible mental benefits from eating this way ---I think that's the most motivating factor I could really ask for. Today was the first day in years that I fasted - planning to do OMAD carnivore dinners. I am looking forward to the feeling of LIMITLESS when I adapt to this way... Will report back later this summer!

This is very interesting. I agree that after about 3 days the hunger does not really affect me as much, it seems like the hunger periods are less in length as well. But I never thought about breaking the fast during the period of the day when you are NOT experiencing any hunger. A novel idea. I am looking forward to seeing what the effects of this are.

Loved this! I've been on an off fasting/feasting this week. My body is feeling awesome when I have Ribeyes too.. Being traveling this week it hasn't been difficult but I have found some great hole's in the wall Bars/Saloons that cook great Ribeyes.

I've been theorising with a friend for a couple of years that we're supposed to feast and then fast because it feels like we're programmed to eat. And I've noticed how easy it is to fast for the rest of the day when I eat a ton of meat for lunch. Fantastic to know that this actually works. I'm not a restricter, so I can't wait to dive in and do this consistently. I've started many times but never implemented feasting and fasting as a real strategy. Now I'm wondering why I didn't. As you say, it really helps to have a community and helpful experts who've paved the way already. Though I do enjoy my theories and trying stuff on my own, too 🤪 But it's great to have people to talk to about these things.

Sounds like this way of fasting would be the perfect way to get stronger when crossing many timeliness flying halfway around the world. I usually dread such travel so to enter a rigorous flight schedule at the beginning of the fast seems ideal. Then it's only a matter of buying enough drinking water. What do you think?

The indigenous people of South Africa (San and Khoikhoi) would do this: after a hunt, the group would eat the whole animal at one sitting and then fast until they were able to hunt again.

Thanks, my idea of fasting to combined with carnevor diet is now proven by you guys 🎉. Wonderful so my plan is to actively to do it. My Prostate problems and overweight including old man leg problem will be in the past. After I Yahweh allow me to become strong again I will train for professional dancing like Tango, Rock and Roll and so on, I am only near 80 but I do not see age limits with this great knowledge. Bless you all Bela and Raimund greetings from Philippines Kuno.
