You can use the Tier 1 creature deterrent as a marker. It will display a sphere of influence on the map without being fueled.

I love that 90% of the stream is soothing competence but then building one little hut in acidic fog has the deaths coming too fast for predictions.

Get yerself a crossbow to deal with drifters, it's cheap and you don't waste rifle durability on floating gas bags. Also you really should have at least one flashlight in these large caves, you keep missing important stuff because it's just out of sight/light range.

Since you have to build the ramp maybe consider building some bridges over the waterways just to make pathing over there a bit easier.

I put my wind turbines on my roof. Keeps them out of the way and looks kinda cool.

Theres a Titanium Ore by the the edge of the lake by the bottom entry to the swamp biome basically on the opposing side of where your base is too. 2 copper ones not far from there too

The deep mining deposites are randomized. Otherwise the one directly east of their base would be a titanium like it is on my map. 😂
