True but looks like it would get old real fast. This is a commendable act but its looks about as engaging as cleaning up after toddlers over and over. Honestly probably better to just report the people doing this so CIG does something about it sooner.

reporting people right now wont do anything, and it wont speed the fix up either. Once the issue is on the issue council and people are upvoting it they know about it. in fact they knew about this exploit during evocati testing of 3.23 but didnt patch it before live, most likely due to wanting to get invictus out the door. but either way, this is a fun thing to do here and there especially if your primarily a scrapper like myself and a good way to get random people within a server to play together for a common cause. Hopefully, they stop worrying so much about xenothreat and get this 3.23.1a patch out soon to fix this exploit.

@@DireSaint I can agree that issues are slow to be resolved and when it effects everyone, they can be especially annoying. But I wouldn't say reporting it does nothing. None the less, bringing awareness to an issue can definitely get a response from CIG sooner, especially if it effects their bottom line. Because if there's one thing they are good at patching, it's money duping exploits. People flooding the already flimsy economy with billions of duped credits tends to hurt ship sales and we can't have that. There's even vids out there of people complaining that they will fix a credit exploit before issues that have been around since 3.12. They did it with the laranite rush. They did it with weapon racks. They'll do it with these C2 parking lots.

@@GrimGatsby never said reporting the issue does nothing, infact i mentioned the opposite. you mentioned reporting the PLAYERS. and i said reporting the players will do nothing, in fact having those players is important to finding the exploits so that they can be removed from the game sooner.

@@DireSaint Pardon me. I stand corrected. Reporting players IS far less consistent in getting a response and relatively tricky to actually act on from CIGs perspective. That said, I don't know if I would go so far as to call players doing things as egregious as this 'important." This is a nuisance style of gameplay and considering it's impacting performance server wide, I would even say it could be argued that this is griefing which goes against TOS.

I'v done similar thing at orbital stations, tow the unshielded ships with SRV and salvage with reclaimer... I guess I will try this too.

CIG can make new game loop. If ship is abandoned fore some time “mission” for salvage that ship can start. Or in front of garage on new Babbage towing missions if ship is park in front of the door.

Im pretty sure they may be parking their ships outside so they are closer to the sell terminal. If u get too far away from the ship it auto stores. At area 18 u cant run to the sell terminal without it auto storing your ship before u get there

I dont know if these C2s are parked or just a bug. I had this a couple of times that my ships got spawned OUTSIDE of the hangar and were marked as "Unknown" in the ASOP terminals.

I mean i explained it in the video, they are clearly duped. Way too many to just be from a bug ive seen 2 people talk about having. 1 person in global chat and now you. Theres a few reasons to park them outside like that for the dupe.

@@DireSaint Yah, i wasnt sure if they were parked there, but i had this bug a couple of time that my ship didnt apear in the hangar. My 400i as example was spawned around 3km away floating in the air. And as i was flying there with a small ship it started to descend and dropped to the ground. That duping seem to be a problem with the selling. After selling some boxes i picked up during ERT missions with my friends my cargo grid was still counted as been occupied and could not snap any boxes to it. Had to claim my ship to fix that issue.

It is not a complicated process. You sell the cargo while the ship is stored. Then you can sell the cargo a second time while the ship is retrieved.

i guess its just confusing why theres so many ships on the outside of the spaceports then. are people just parking them there to claim them and fix their cargo grid? cuz thats worse when they could just fly out and self destruct. would at least help with server performance.

@@DireSaint, the C2s are parked on the outside of Riker, because the TDD is over 10km away from the spaceport, at which distance the ship gets automatically stored when still in the hangar. Why those people have to make such a mess of the situation is above me. I also did it and i did not park my C2s in the most annoying spot and i also stored them after i was done. But keep in mind that cleaning up is hard in this game and it is not encouraged in any way by the game mechanics. In fact it is quite the opposite. The game rewards littering.

You almost can’t not dupe I run a vulture go out scrape fill my ship come back sale the rmc go back out and you ship is still full with a ghost load some times storing the ship and bringing it back out fixes it sometime you have to just leave it and reclaim it if you don’t want to dupe it or go back to a terminal and sale the ghost load the bug is terrible and makes you choose to either dupe it or wait for your ship to be claimed

I havnt duped a single time and had no issues. the only thing the "ghost load" does is stop your cargo grid from snapping things, you can still free store boxes no problem, and when you go to sell your new cargo the "ghost load" does not appear. Treat it like a simple cargo grid bug instead of duping. Aside from that, getting money from a duped load isnt the main issue, its the compounding ships stored on the outside of space ports destroying performance. if people really wanted to reset their cargo grid, fly out of port and self destruct. at least the servers wont suffer.

I have the vulture say the the cargo is full and would not let the boxes come out of the printer or whatever it’s call says to remove the box out of the area and wouldn’t work I not saying to dupe it is a annoying bug is all I am saying and having to wait to claim you ship sucks they need to fix it fast

i mean its just logic. servers got progressivley worse as more and more duped ships started showing up. its hundreds of entities that have entities within entities within THOSE entities that the server has to process location data, damage state, inventory state and more and then transmit that data to every player ontop of all the other processies that it has to do on a normal basis.

If you look at your ship in the equipment viewer and rotate it you can see thos parts that move as you rotate thos are entities thos add up and are cpu load entity lag is the number 1 lag maker in most games no matter how efficient you are at making the game and every ship is made of mant many entities to allow for the dynamic damage and moving parts and the game is expecting like 1 or 2 ships per person not 500 for 5 people and 2 for everyone else

@@DireSaint not just in armistice zones. These guys are buying their RMC at Rappel or Pickers Field (and getting picked off by pirates pretty regularly on the weekends). The really annoying thing is that it is a complete waste to park their C2 outside like that. If they really want to be able to clear their cargo grid without having to wait the 10 to 30 minutes for an insurance claim, they *could* go to a scrapyard and sell the phantom cargo. Then they could make their ill-gotten money without littering up A18... And the pirates would have a second place to camp out.

this is the downside to the glitch, its only at Area 18 as well. I started selling my dupe load at orinth for a "loss" so I didn't keep adding my c2's to the pile

i mean also the fact that the commodities get capped everywhere making it a pain for others to sell their rmc from actually scraping, however there are tons of ships at MT as well. Its mostly at arcorp because A18 for some reason has the highest cap of 50k rms where as everywhere else i believe is capped at 4k

Cruise control turns off when you get out the seat for some reason. I haven’t been able to get it to work
