Welcome to Michigan Ken! I wanted to recommend Faygo pop (soda) to go with that pizza and cheese bread. It’s a Detroit original with a ton a different flavors. If you can find the bomb pop or Dreamin (orange creamsicle) grab them! They have Buddys pizza is the frozen section at the local grocery stores too if you want to take them home. Also, we do need a White Castle 24 hour stealth camp.

I loved the music serenade in the beginning. It was so much fun to watch! Buddy's pizza looks delicious. Next time we are in Michigan, we will definitely be trying it. We usually go to Jet's pizza, but Buddy's looks so much better.

Oh Ken! Buddy's Pizza Chesterfield, MI. Nice town. My brother lived in ANN ARBOR, MI when my nephew was 7 or 8. looks so good! My favorite is Supreme with the pepperoni, sausage, green pepper, onion! Love the cheese bread but with marinara. Parmesan. Love the brownie the best! Love Biggy Coffee! Nice breakfast resteraunt!! Do like your new Mercedes Camper Van. Carol right having a sink in the van. We had a WHITE CASTLE HERE IN Evansville, IN in the OHIO VALLEY BUT IT CLOSED. Then Krystal opened up but closed. Then local Candy Store now it's closed. Building still waiting for another resteraunt. building is still empty!!!!

I live in Phoenix now and used to work for a rocket fast mortgage company (hint hint ;) ) based in Detroit. The company used to order in Jet’s pizza and they have locations here in PHX too so that’s what I’ve had for most of my Detroit style pizza. Haven’t had it in a while, even Pizza Hut has an attempt at Detroit style, but the others haven’t been as good as Jets, and they are opening a location about half mile from my house in Peoria AZ! Can’t wait, the now hiring sign just went up recently in front of the location, so it’s getting close! Will have to try Buddys eventually when I can. It looks good as well.

Those May flies (June bugs, fish flies) are a naissance around the vicinity of Lake St. Clair this time of year. They are attracted to light at dusk and into nighttime so many businesses turn down their lights or even off to deter them from swarming around and sticking to windows and sidewalks. I ate at that location last year with a friend and she passed away a few months after. It brought tears to my eyes thinking about her. Anyways, now you've tried Buddy 's you must have cloverleaf. Funny about the Coney Island mention. They're known for Coney Dogs, but otherwise are essentially diners. So the people going there in the morning were probably there for breakfast. You need to give Windsor Style Pizza a try on your channel. There are a lot of pizza places in Windsor Ontario that are Mom and Pop shops with great pizza. Someone even made a documentary about Windsor pizza

I think the original Buddy's is in Detroit actually. My fiancee worked in Detroit for about 6 months in 2021 and every week I'd drive up from Kentucky to see her and we'd get Buddy's Pizza from the OG location at least once every week.

Well welcome to MI! Belatedly I say. I used to work in Chesterfield. So Chesterfield and New Baltimore share a post office. Some zipcodes fall on both sides of the borders between the cities. So there is often some confusion on mapping software as to where things are located. I used to work at the Chesterfield Library. Some maps said it was in Chesterfield, some said New Baltimore. Just depends. P.S. go shop at Dick's. Buy something small. Just so you can get a bag of Dicks!

Blue water bridge to I 94 west to 23 mile exit to 23 and gratiot. I live near Lakeside Mall, so I'm very familiar with Chesterfield/New Baltimore. Never been to that Buddy's, but i will say Louis' might be better because of their salad. Plus theres only one Louis' on Dequinder between 8 and 9 mile. So many good one's like Green Lantern, Cloverleaf, Shields, of course Louis'. Thanks for finally trying the real deal Detroit style in all it's glory. 🍕🍻✌️
