Stealth Camping Behind Billboard

Things finally fell into place and I found my dream stealth camping billboard. I've been searching for years and finally found the perfect one to camp behind. I made it back from the ill-fated trip to the coast, I only got half way there before the floods washed out all the highways connecting the interior to the coast. I will have to make another camping trip as soon as things are back to normal and roads are reopened.

You are a damn good man Steve Wallis. The fact that you're remodeling a house, paying rent at an apartment in the city, and funding your KZbin page you still stepped up and made a sizable donation to a good cause in inspiring. I know people have said it before but this channel it's not really all about the camping. In addition to your monetary donations, you provide people of the world over with a moment of Zen every week and for that we are grateful.

I love how paranoid Steve gets. Think about it. To get rumbled a motorist driving at probably 70mph about 100 metres away would have to spot a green hammock under a green tarp behind a camo net in dense forest through a 1 metre gap. All while driving looking at the road in front of them not looking for anything by the sign. After all that they would then have to decide to stop and do something about it. You're fine Steve!

We watch the videos for you, not for your location. In fact, sometimes I wish you would not do so much stealth because it looks dangerous & scary, and we don't want harm to come to you. Hey, Steve! Was telling one of my brother in laws about your channel, and he told me that when he was traveling and needed to sleep in his car, he would park in a hospital emergency room parking lot because people assume that you have a love one in the hospital and need sleep. So no one bothers you and you can usually use the bathroom. One of my nephews recently had to follow his advice.

Great video Steve! I have been homeless many times since 1995; after ending up in a hospital; violins playing now. So, I wish I would have seen this before all those times I was homeless. I was laughed at, made fun of, etc. My favorite street camping item was a tarp. I didn't have a car. And the tarp folded nicely in my back pack. I could stay clean with the tarp underneathe me while trying to sleep with one eye open. Hardest part of it was having to use a ladies room around 3 a.m. YOUR videos are heart felt! THANK YOU👍

Steve - you break my heart man! You're a great dude! I'm homeless, sleeping in my car in CT, I've gotten out of my situation in the past, but as I'm older, I find it more and more difficult to get back in touch with society (losing faith) but watching you, ask your followers to defer donating to you, has immediately brought me back into realizing that there has to be other real, caring, good hearted people like yourself that REALLY DO care, and are not just saying it to impress on social media just! I was beginning to dislike my fellow human because, of how I'm treated just asking for a 10¢, not even a quarter, like how dare I ask for a handout. I hate that I have to, but nobody will hire me, when I have one set of clothes, can't shower, and just use my car as shelter. It doesn't start, because I don't have gas. But enough about me! I just want you to know Steve, that you saved me from giving up, you showed me, that if I continue to try, there's still people like yourself out there to enjoy the rest of my life with. The first video I saw of yours was when you set up a tent in your backyard. It was incredibly cold, like -30 °F and you had a small wood stove. It got up to around 80° inside and I thought, that's pretty cool! I've got to see more of this guy's videos. Always a pleasure to watch your adventures!
