It is currently 91 in LA and Venice beach is 68 degrees so Cassie was fine. I live here, she was fine.

You’re in my hood if you need any recommendations on cool beach communities, let me know. I highly recommend heading a bit north and stopping in Ventura and Carpenteria. Both of them are pretty mellow and should be easy to find parking.

I have been to Santa Monica. I didn't actually make it to the Pier. But I could see it from a good ways away. I then went on to Hollywood to see the Stars on the Sidewalk. That was my favorite part... and seeing a friend. I lived the video. And seeing you and Cassie. She is So Beautiful! She looks like she is such a sweetheart!!! Have fun and stay safe.

The CA Sierras and Redwoods are my favorite parts. Loved seeing Cassie. I just got a rescue Husky after not having a dog for so long.

Went there a couple of times, last time on my Harley down 66 to Santa Monica, then along the coast South, then North and back on the Pony Express Trail. Cal is nice, but it's crowded. Very touristy. Very expensive. I think I liked Huntington Beach where things thinned out a bit. Change in California since the 1980s has been profound.

I didn’t see a link for your Etsy shop, so I searched and found it. It only shows two tshirts, but the search box says you have 11 items. When I search “shirt”, it shows 7 options and when I search “hat”, it shows 2 options. What are the other 2 items? That "Beautiful Orange Glow" is ONE HUNDRED PERCENT pollution. It does make for nice sunsets and sunrises, though - as long as you don't BREATHE in !!! I was in LA in 1980 and have pictures of the pollution even back then - YUCK !!! . . . ALSO . . . have you seen "Zac Zaller" on KZbin who is building a real FANCY box truck "home" ? . . he's almost finished building it.

There is next to no air pollution at the beaches. That is where all the fresh ocean air comes in from. That is the marine layer that enters the shores every day and burns off mid day and returns/rolls in in the evenings which give our beaches the great sunsets. Now the valleys is another deal altogether but even there the pollution is WAY better than it was in the 80’s. You can thank the EPA for that.

Love this video and glad I found your channel. Just want to clarify or remind people that may not know that Hispanics/Latinos are not simply HERE in California, California was Mexico for hundreds of years and before that and always indigenous peoples of all cultures land. When California became a state the residents didn’t go anywhere. Always here and forever a part of our culture. Look at all the names of the towns and streets. ALL Latino derived in name and meaning. Simply beautiful people and always working hard for a better life. Thanks Dan! We hope you come back!
