It was smart to pick a pile that was off the actual parking lot. At least it appeared to be. Around here, in Michigan, they often bring dozers and dump trucks in the middle of the night to relocate the huge piles of snow that are taking up parking spots at the edges of the lot. Keep that in mind for anyone looking to try this out.

Literally the piles all sit there till they melt. As long as i have been alive, 30 years, I've never seen any one come and pick up the snow banks.. thats a huge waste of time and is the reason they just sit there until it melts. Ive seen snow banks stick around for months after the snow was gone because it took alot longer to melt... where exactly are these supposed trucks that pick up snow piles? Never seen that in my life. Again thats just a waste of time.
@cosmicbilly3 жыл бұрын
What would actually happen is a plow coming to dump more snow on top. They literally use parking lot as snow banks for plowed snow. The banks will be around long after the snow melts. @BigDapperDanMan3 жыл бұрын
The hazard of a plow blocking the exit is valid, but it seems to me the much bigger danger is collapse of the tunnel onto the person. If the exit were just blocked but not collapsed (meaning you're within a cavity in the snow where there's at least some air and your arms and legs are free to move) you'd have a chance to dig your way out. But if the snow collapses on you (which wouldn't require an interfering plow, it could just happen spontaneously while you're digging or later), you'd basically be concreted under, unable to move your arms and/or legs, and with no air. Even if a helpful person was right there and saw it happen, they might not be able to dig you out in time. Not my area of expertise, but I think to safely dig a tunnel (or trench) you need to be continuously installing something to prevent collapse of the roof and sides.

@@bcsushi91 it’s unfortunate. I really enjoyed his stuff. I just don’t get the motivation for the lie. It’s not like he promised it so he had to pretend. I mean he could’ve even said in the video that there wasn’t a good enough pile at WM so he found a spot in another lot. Just makes you wonder what other videos he’s fabricated.

The amount of balls this takes it immensely understated. Those things can collapse or if it starts snowing during the night while you're tucked away sleeping, the snow plows can bury you alive while shoving fresh snow on the pile etc.... Mad props Joe.

@@dennish411 Yeah there is a video exposing this video as a fake stealth camp, but Joe never has (and probably never will) made a video owning up to it, just sucks that people have to accept lies from these big youtubers. If he just addressed it and owned up to his lie, the whole thing would be squashed, but not only did he lie to his viewers but he lied to Steve Wallis about what he was doing for that night, and I just don't think Steve has the heart/balls to call Joe out, he doesn't want the drama that would certainly go with it.

This is such a fun idea- but my first thought was what if the plows come out in the morning and either bury you in, or injure you?? Snowbank aside, sleeping camouflaged into a parking lot is terrifying, anything could happen when it comes to people/vehicles.

If u have ever plowed snow or been around one of those piles it’s solid ice u couldn’t drive a plow thru it n hit joe if u wanted too and as long as his entrance isn’t parking lot side which would be dumb anyways bc that’s not stealth then he’s fine

I told a KZbin guy from Idaho a couple things and they used them and never said a word told them to paint the sub floor with old paint and just throw a bunch of cheap stuff on to protect it from rain. Also for sheet rock you can use lipstick to know where to cut your boxes. The dude used both of them. Haha I think I even commented and said wow what a good idea they just said thanks.
