They make collapsible E-Bikes. I know you don’t have a ton of spare room but possibly a carrier outside of your van connected to your hitch. Could throw a cover over it for weather purposes and store it inside your van if you absolutely needed too. Would be so perfect for exploring a bit more of the areas you travel too. Even an electric scooter would be legit too. Would definitely look into it.

You talked about getting to camp for free next to million dollar homes. You should do a video like “what I spend in a week living in a van full time” or something similar. Guarantee it will do well. People are curious about that aspect of van life and respect that you don’t try to glamorize it. Plus finance videos always do well.

If you ever go more towards joshua tree again you should check out this place called Oak Glen! There is a lot to do up there! You pick apples and grind/squeeze it to make fresh apple juice! You can pick raspberries, a ton of sluff! Fresh apple pies, amazing food... hope you check it out while ur in cali man!

I am wondering if generally speaking when you park on the side of the road your van is kind of tilted and then also do you feel like you have to hide in it at a certain time at night so people won't come bother you like what are the realities of that? I am 60 and deciding between getting a van or a camper and doing some adventuring and it seems to me that if you were going to be in the city most of the time you'd want a van so you can just kind of stealth part but if you want to stay at campgrounds or away from the cities it would be nicer to have a camper so I'm wondering how you feel about that cuz I haven't made a final decision yet

I feel like the general rule is all East coast beach bathrooms I expect to be disgusting and all west coast bathrooms are clean and nice I’m from the East coast But there’s this sort of magical outlook of California and Oregon and Washington that I have and I think a lot of people have honestly But obviously it’s not true San Francisco isn’t some perfect utopia right ? My friend got divorced and had to live in a van until the divorce was finalized. He got so sick of people bothering him to move that he created a huge sticker for both sides and the back with some made up "911 Electrical Repair Co sign" and even stuck a ladder on top. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He said he was never bothered again.
