Seasoning isnt leaving old food in the pan. Seasoning means that you heat the pan up after washing to dry it then you "season" it with an oil that you rub all over the pan inside and outside. Then its ready to store until next use.

No, no, you clean your cast iron pans. Coarse sea salt and water with sponge, or soap and water. Then coat with oil lightly before you put it away. That pan is nasty af dude.

I understand completely, haha! But it works while in a van currently without water. I use throw away dishes and just the cast iron daily atm. It works and honestly adds good flavor for the next time I cook. The only thing I leave in usually is just the animal fats or oils, which is 100% ok. I scrape meat out still. I probably should have talked about it more haha

Mf has never heard of seasoning a pan lol… if someone cleaned one of my pans with soap and water I would do something exceedingly violent though I’m not sure what.

Um, no ! I just can't can't get past the cast iron.. I only cook in cast iron and If you leave all that nasty in that cast Iron more than a day and cook in it, that is so nasty. That is not seasoning... Paper towels and spatula works wonders... but, you are one eating out of it, so rock on..LOL

You have to clean that cast iron. You are basically leaving left over food that’s rotting daily. 🤮Dude you are going to get really sick. PLEASE CLEAN IT! I’m worry about you.

@@Winterstormadvisory It's fine to clean cast iron with a little bit of dishwashing liquid and water. The age-old advice about never using soap to clean cast iron came from the time when soap was made from lye, which definitely removes seasoning. Dishwashing liquid is a detergent, and contains no lye, thus is safe in moderation.

Just came across your videos, being from NY I love that you showed some cool areas here. But dude clean your pan. I am 58 and have my mother’s cast iron skillets and I can tell you have to clean them. Use mild water and soap or salt, some van lifters use vinegar and water then wipe it. But please clean it and eat some vegetables. On to your next video 😊

I like how simple you keep your camper. The ones that are totally tricked out are amazing but so cramped and too many gadgets and wires and open this close this squeeze and up and down, jeez too much in a small space. Simple is better. The only thing I noticed I would want is ventilation system and havoc. Heat and cool and clean filtered air

Man, i bought a van but i got kinda screwed. It was an old ford e250. It was the only thing i could remotely afford. So got it, and halfway home the ABS light comes on and i get brake fading. Due to the laws, i couldn't return it or anything like that. So, i had it in the shop for 2 months. They had to replace the master cylinder, the ABS controle module and hydraulic underneath it. Driving it home was fine. But yesterday, i went to move the van to get it ready to go to the DMV next week and when i started the car; the ABS light was on again. I really hope it was just a fluke. I am not going to have a place to stay by the end of august. I used all my money to even get this van. I really hope this can work out, cus it's really my only option; housing it too expensive which is why i went for the van in first place. Just had to vent a little here. Wish me luck and pray for me ryan, thank you!! And good luck to you; if my van works your videos will be extremely helpful. Peace and love!

Also, I kinda have a bit of brain fog myself from blazing the 420 for over a decade straight. Perhaps this all meat diet is the key. I've been eating a ass-load of eggs lately, i dunno if that's the same. Also, I noticed your shroom ornament in a few of your videos. Respect :D

So the vast secret I've learned to rid yourself of brain fog is an ongoing battle in life. But it works so well! Fish, especially fatty fish, every other day. That Salmon I cooked, that is what cures most of the brain fog. Second, and absolutely just as important, the right kind if excersise. The kind that makes your head throb with blood, like walking quickly up a mountain, or high intensity workouts that make you constantly breath for lots of air. This is my own ideas below, what I just said is most important, but hopefully below helps you even more. I put this together myself after years of trial and error. The "!" means it's more critical: Deeper Sleep: ! Exercise Intensively ! Liver Before Bed (if restless at night) ! Red Light Therapy on Gut (melatonin) Potassium Magnesium (do not take daily) Less Brainfog: ! Exercise Intensively ! Eat Salmon (DHA) every other day ! 2 Day Fast or more Electrolyte Drink (all 3 salts) More Motivation: ! Exercise Intensively ! Sleep Before 10pm ! Liver Night Before ! 2 Day Fast ! No Phone in Morning ? Psilocybin Day Before

@sandrashane677 for that, I believe you should buy yourself a nice pair of red Light glasses that block 99% of the blue light. There is no alternative to discipline here, but I have this exact same issue. If we must be around blue light from a late night search or TV screen, we can at least block the blue light so we still get tired. Otherwise you are blocking your brain from making melatonin. Your hypothalamus takes in the light from eyes and sets our internal clock. You could also try red light therapy and shine the light at your forehead for increased melatonin production. All of this info I give comes from many peer reviewed sources btw. It helps me personally get over the issues you described!

Almost all mayo brands are made using toxic seed oils. Usually Soybean oil. Better to make it yourself using unprocessed avocado oil or olive oil. Or if you don't like the taste of those, you can just use butter and an egg which is called hollandaise instead of mayo.

So I look at all nutrition labels when buying any food. I'm very knowledgeable on seed oils. They are way worse than sugar even. They are toxic to smell even. This one does have soybean oil. You are right though. Doing this every other day with my fish isn't the greatest thing for chronic inflammation levels. Plus the seed oils raise insulin levels more than carbs if you were to eat them all day. They are one of the worst foods out there. I think you are right, I should look into making my own or get a better brand.

Try eating Salmon daily! Do it for at least a week and see how you feel. I am eating it every other day now and it magically makes everything so much better for me. I go through times of severe ADHD symptoms and I start really feeling the burnout from it. Salmon made it way better very quickly. Also for motivation, try cow liver... I understand that is not for everyone, but it does help me too. Also there is a precursor to dopamine, L-tyrosine. I've been experimenting with a little. Take very little of the powder at a time, but it's an Amino acid. The thought is that ADHD is somewhat rooted in dopamine issues, so the precursor to make dopamine might help.

Did you ever think of putting your bed at a diagonal? I've never seen that done. lol. That's how I'm going to do my van when I get it. I'm going to put my bed under the floorboards and have a hatch cut out that slides in and out so my bed will be a hidden compartment. Like a sardine can made of wood if you can picture that. And my "dining room/sitting room" will go on top of my bed if that makes sense so I wont have to make my bed every day. I just have to slide the lid to hide it away. My dining table can double as extra kitchen counter space. And in the gaps where the bed is at a diagonal I can fit lots of storage space and a toilet/shower. Follow me for more crazy original van ideas.
