Respect for mentioning you suffering from anxiety. I’m bipolar so I have bad anxiety all the time, sometimes I go into psychosis. It’s good to speak of mental health just like of any other things, so many of us have these problems. Great video 👍🏼

10:30 I appreciate you saying this because I feel the same way. I have bad anxiety, it caused me to waste years of the prime of my life and I'm sick of it holding me back. And it's worst when I'm dealing with other people. So having some way to test my anxiety but still avoid people does help me get comfortable being vulnerable and not let my anxiety keep me in a box and control me. This is important, a lot of people might benefit from these kind of things.

We need time away from family stuff to just process life sometimes. I'm lucky cos my wife is ok if I just bugger off for a walk for a few hours. She knows it's just me resetting my brain. I suffer with anxiety to the point where It could very easily stop me doing most things. Hence why I started vanlife and living off grid and why I sold my house and haulage company. I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone as my anxiety was starting to make me depressed. Anxiety not been an issue since I started vanlife. Rights lol

I used to suffer real bad with anxiety. I found the best way of beating it, is to challenge it, go above and beyond what makes you feel uncomfortable every time you can, and before you know it.. no anxiety. Now I feel there’s nothing I’m not capable of.

Absolutely love that you keep to a sensible budget for gear. When we were young we used to take a tarp and water. Sometimes if we went to places we knew there were springs just take the tarp and borrow a few bits of veg from farmers fields and eggs from chickens wandering wild. Some friends were good at rabbiting and we would have breakfast with rabbit. Not sure kids do that these days.
