I am a long time cyclist for exercise and pleasure. I live in Minneapolis, MN. and we have literally hundreds of miles of bike trails in this state. I would definitely be interested in a bike like this as I'm getting a little older and the assist would really be welcome towards the end of a long ride or day. Great RWT! Loved it and I'm all in on your testing of other products.

Coffee time... There are very few bikes I can ride on, and yet I love biking so I go to the gym and ride for an hour while listening to music or a podcast. Where I come from there are bike lanes every where, they are separately maintained and kept well. I rode to school and back all through my teens and I always liked it. We used to drive in huge groups, some 30 kids and sometimes road rage (j/k) messed with the group and some fell. So I decided to ride in Canada as well, it went fine for about 3 years, sharing the road until one morning I got hit badly. I looked at the electric bikes with the thick tires but they are almost as expensive as 3 months rent. Riding on the public road is not possible any more, even when the city is creating bike lanes buses and delivery vehicles block the road and swerving into traffic has already led to many accidents. Outside of this city is just gambling with your life. I guess once the gas prices go up to 10 bucks a gallon people might think about getting more efficient ways to transport in the city. But then there is the theft, at least 7 out of 10 bikes is stolen or damaged, yes that is 70%. For me, even coming from The Netherlands, I have given up on biking freely.

I’m not a cyclist but I do commute to work in NYC by eBike. I thought this bike was great until I heard the price. You can definitely getting a better bike with better performance at that price range. Love the video tho and it’s cool seeing the places I ride with a different perspective. 👍🏽

Extra batteries are 279 which is not outrageous and you could easily carry the extra in a pack. I love the stealth of it.

I've just spent £300 replacing parts on my hybrid bike. It's clocked up over 10,000km in 3 years so I do like to cycle! Although I am getting tired of hills and would like a little bit of some assistance! I think my next bike will certainly be an eBike. But since I've just replaced parts on my current bike it will probably be a few years until that happens!

I really like the format. But the right e-bike for you. As what you describe here, would be more one of the compagnie Electra bicycle with a Bosch motor, I think you would specifically love the Vale Go!

It would have been nice if when you pedal, without assistance from motor, to charge the battery, that way you can have longer runs and save some energy when charging from an outlet. Nice change of pace from all the mobile tech world....thank you for that! Nice work

I have found the cadence sensors can feel quite weird. Especially from a standstill they can often feel a bit unnatural.

This bike looks absolutely incredible, everything I’ve been wanting. Do you know if you can easily attach a rack to it? Also, any experience with customer support? The company seems tiny and barely has an online presence it seems.

That particular e-bike doesn't seem like they put much effort into it. Weight may be the best thing, even though I don't know how much it weighs. But if you like the aesthetic of the bike, I think Van Moof or a simple conversion kit may be better. Something light weight to get up stairs or fit in elevator? Folding, 20" wheel bikes may be better.
