Nicely done minivan conversion. It's small in size, but you've squeezed in most of the amenities that a full size camper van would have.

Wonderful van- your presentation is perfect. Very informative. Love it. For me, I need a permanent bed- I can’t deal with making and unmaking a bed every day- I know myself well enough that I know it won’t happen! Lol. I’m happy with a twin bed- I think I’m too tall to sleep side to side though that would be my preference. Someday I hope! Thanks- Going to go check out your website now!

I wonder how many people choosing this lifestyle it will take before the rules change because too many have done it and diminished what it is that attracted them in the first place. Lived long enough to know, when too many people are involved, the 'new rules' show up not too long after. When I fished, I certainly did not take out ads in the newspaper telling anyone where they were. Same principle .

He charges only 11k for the conversion but you need to find and buy a van and bring it to him in Orlando Florida. A link to his website is in his description.

Really need to revisit your basic electrical knowledge. A watt is volts times amps. Now you must add time to it to get watt hours or even watt minutes and compare that to the battery amp hour rating. The battery has 1280 watt capacity. Irr not correct! Must include for how many hours else the statement is nonsense?
@TomETurner8 ай бұрын
Top of the screen list of watts consumed is titled "average day's electrical consumption" so since a day = 24hours a 1280 watts capacity/day battery = 1280 watts/24 hours = 53.33 average watts per hour / 12 volts average = 4.44 ah? sounds low since average batteries are rated from 50 to 200 ah ?
@bobmirror71648 ай бұрын
You listed all of the hings in watts which is required on electric product labels. Watt is like how hard, how much work, you have to push something to make it move. volts times amps equals watts Volts, think pressure. Amps think quantity of electrons. Watts think work, the amount of push effort time. 120.0 volts x 1 amp = 120.0 watts 12.8 volts x 1 amp = 12.8 watts Lesson: voltage makes a big difference. It is a 100 amp/hour battery. Clearly marked 100 amp battery. Not sure why they are saying this "The battery is rated at 1280 watt/hours." Other than 100 amps times 12.8 volts equals 1280 watts. The battery is clearly marked and it says 100 AMPS. So in theory if you had a 10 amp load the battery would be dead in 10 hours. In practice you should not discharge a battery faster than the recommended charge rate in amps. In practice if you want the battery to last a for many cycles do not use more that 30 to 40 percent of the total amps. For this battery the charge rating is: 20 amps. -------------------------------------------------- Info from: www.us.sokbattery.com/product-page/sok-100ah-12v-lifepo4-deep-cycle-battery Charge information: Recommend charge current: 20A Maximum charge current: 50A Recommend charge voltage:14.4V ~14.6V Discharge Information: Maximum continuous discharge current: 100A Peak discharge current: 200A(3 seconds) Recommend low voltage disconnect: 11.2V BMS discharge cut-off voltage: Around 10.4V Reconnect Voltage:>11.6V -------------------------- So: 200 watt load for one hour is: amps x volts = watts amps x 12.5V = 200 watts So solving for amps: amps= 200 watts divide by 12.5 volts amps= 16 amps at 12.5 volts So, If you use the 200 watt load for 1 hour you are using 16 amps for one hour or 16 amp/hours of the 100 amp/hours in the battery. It is a 100 amp/hour battery So the math, 100 a/h a battery using 16 amps will be dead in 100/16 = 6.25 hours. Because I want my batteries to last, I would not use a 200 watt load more that 3 hours before charging the battery. And final thoughts the battery will work fine for its intended purpose if one dose not get too craze using the electric cooking appliances. I think this is correct. However I do get a brain fart every now and then. Let me know if this makes sense. @@TomETurner
