2:42 that blebby weld on the front top engine tube to mounting is a bit bluuugh, you'd think with Hondas high standard they'd have ground it smooth or at least flat before it got painted.

Yep, liking this one… I’ve ridden a few cb1000r’s, really a great machine. As to if it’s ‘better’ than the 650 is a subjective call. No denying it’s a crackin’ looking thing though. Actually the design team have done a good job of getting this through to market, you can see how great this would look without the number plate/light hanger foojamaflip and the reflectors etc. All very solvable… great job, Kate. 👍👍

It's a great bike husband loves his CB1000R. Rear shock is pants unfortunately, most CB owners end up changing them to the aftermarket ones. And although most people hate the rear hugger/numberplate holder, if you take it off you get absolutely plastered in the wet as the back end is so short, so it does its job. Looking forward to your riding vid.

Absolutely beautiful bike. I find the black pipes under the engine remarkable. What I always notice about Japanese bikes: the compactness of the engines. They just know how to do that. On a GS it looks like goulash, on the Japanese it's a design element. Thanks for the video.

Great walk-around review. As a former Fireblade rider, I looked at these when I switched to a naked. Really love the single-sided swingarm and typical Honda quality, but found them a little soul-less when riding. Probably due to the usual Japanese in-line four. In the end, went for something with a bit of character - the Ducati Monster. Be interested to see what you think when riding it, particularly compared to the recent Suzuki GSX-S 1000 you rode.
