Thanks for the good tutorial. There is a way to create .cso files from .iso files on Linux (what the Steam Deck runs) too. The tool is called ciso. You install it and then in a terminal you run the command like this: `ciso [compression level] infile.iso outfile.cso`. Compression level is a number 1 - 9.

Yes the ppsspp is definitely worth it on deck. Excellent performance I have tested 8 games all works perfectly with 60fps and better graphics than original PSP screen.

Do you have to download the roms on an ext. hd and then tranfer or can you download them onto steam deck directly?

You can download from steam deck directly. Deck is a pc it can do all stuff windows can handle. Just make sure plugged when you are downloading big files.

PPSSPP game are not working in Gaming Mode but they work in desktop mode when i launch the PPSSPP app.

I was trying to use this guide but the tabs in the new EmuDeck looks completely different mainly the parse section . I'm totally confuse there as is completely different as I guess it was change in later update . Can you do this guide with the update Emudeck ?.

Bios already built in with the ppspp emulator. You dont have to look for them.

Ok now my issue is PPSSPP roms through EmuDeck are showing up in Gaming Mode but when i click on them they are not working, they just crash . In desktop mode they work in the PPSSPP app . My PS2 roms works and looks great with your PS2 tutorial. Thanks

How can I get that tools and stuff? Everytime I go to emudeck it only shows me easy mode and custom mode, at the bottom it only shows see changelog and continue. Help, I'm already annoyed, I'd like to fix this and be able to play PPSSPP on gaming mode because desktop mode controls don't work.

Have you installed the EmuDeck ? Pick the custom mode and follow the step through then relaunch EmuDeck you will see tools & stuff

@@ED4T thanks for replying, the problem is that I was doing it offline, apparently for the "tools and stuff" to show up you need to be connected to the internet and unfortunately for me I have to ration my data, but I followed every steps you provided in this video and it worked. I'm glad I was able to transfer my save data together with the DLC from android, I'm very happy that I get to play Peace Walker while listening to Heavens Divide. Thanks for making this video.

Dont run it standalone in desktop mode. Then the controls.dont work. Run it in gaming mode
